Education, yes, but also a willingness to learn. And a motivation to learn as well. We used to live in a world where a college degree guaranteed you a well-paying job - and you had to excel in school to get there. That's simply not the case anymore

Some people are just gullible like that. If they hear it enough times, from enough people, they start thinking that it must be true. "They couldn't ALL be wrong"... but yet, they actually are.

That's why you must use reputable sources of information. Not just any site that agrees with you. AI will never know the difference between a good or bad source

I've started making chicken & dumplings from scratch. It uses a biscuit recipe for the dumplings, dropped right into the soup during cooking. Plus lots of vegetables and chicken broth (that I've never cooked with before). It's SO much better than the canned chicken & dumplings

Do you have a source on this? How does the math work? This looks like an AI response. You know who controls AI, right? They can code them to lie to us, ya know

Actually... I agree. I've been making plans for a tower defense game w/ a horror element more than Gemcraft had. I want light to be a gameplay element; you have to light up the map to see the attackers coming. But I think that alone isn't enough, there needs to be more elements... I dunno what, tho

We need to remind Republicans in Congress: Trump would do this to D.C. just as easily. As long as he wasn't there when it happened, he wouldn't care

What some people see as leadership is how he makes a decision and sticks to it. His strategy is "this is how we're going to do it", with no questions asked. But he does so without any input from experts; so his choices are usually wrong.

Yup. They said "Let the voters decide" when a judge died in early 2016. Then when a judge died in late 2020 (I think it was RBG) they had a new judge sworn within DAYS. The GOP will not play by the rules they expect Dems to adhere to

Voting is the first step in Democracy; it isn't the last. If Trump wants to prevent the transfer of power, then we need to be the unrest in the streets. We need to be the sudden business collapse when we start an economic strike. Trump is gonna do everything possible to stay in power. We need ->

Maaan, it does! I can get to work in like 25 minutes in the morning. But now on my way home, that route can take over an hour. I now take a different route that's longer, but it takes about 45 minutes to get home

much worse after 4. Since they had no volunteers, they made everyone do it. We all complained... the change stayed

I went through the opposite feeling. My work used to be from 7-3:30 (30 minute lunch), but they wanted us to switch to 7-4 to match the other offices in the country. They first asked for volunteers to leave at 4 w/ an hour lunch. Nobody took it; we've seen enough overtime to know that traffic is ->

That's not true. Trump stole the election with Musk's help & nobody stopped him. They both bragged about it too Trump couldn't even fill highschool bleachers with supporters, yet he won all 7 battleground states? And by JUST ENOUGH to avoid a recount? It doesn't add up; it was never half the voters
010
mindstorm8191 @mindstorm8191.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
Basically, yeah. Trump ran in 2016 as a joke & won. Then he liked being President. Then lost in 2020. He tried to change the results but couldn't. But still had the GOP. So he weaseled into our systems, getting his yes-men placed. Then stole the election & nobody stopped him. Now he's taking revenge
000
mindstorm8191 @mindstorm8191.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I won't support how the law protects racists (it protects the rich too, far more than the poor). I won't support rapists either. That judge must be a rapists too, because they are, once again, blaming the victim. That's a bullshit ruling. How do you get a judge removed? I don't know...

creepy old guy who harasses women on the regular, because he keeps it secret from me; I can't fix what I never see. I don't expect you to fix him, either. He needs to be called out for his behavior (or caught on camera) and suffer consequences for it, through the law or otherwise.

Tariffs? That's not China's game; have you seen what happened to Uber in China? Uber was somewhat successful, but then China made their own company to compete. Uber invested millions to gain customers, but with each win China changed the rules to favor their own company. Uber had to give up & leave

We already know he is, though. And MAGA don't even care. What might change things is if Trump is ridiculed in his face by crowds of people; but I don't know. What is really hurting Trump right now is high diesel prices; and he doesn't know how to leave Iran alone

mindstorm8191 @mindstorm8191.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
People don't understand how giving food to the poor influences crime. Some people will always be criminals, but for many others they just want to survive. If they have to break the law & get violent with others just to be able to eat, they will.

020
mindstorm8191 @mindstorm8191.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
I support your efforts to be better prepared. But I don't think high diesel prices are going to cause food prices to spike as much as people think. Corporations are already charging us as much as we'll take. I think corps will have to eat these costs.

That would be your fate if you tried to do it alone. What we need is crowds. Thousands of people. That's what it took for ICE to give up in Minneapolis. Do not be afraid to create a mob for this job. We need to stand together to protect each other - every single one. United we stand

mindstorm8191 @mindstorm8191.bsky.social · 25/09/2026
