Some of my Alts's related to Selru actually have him as a retainer! He's a Lively Male Viera. Soooo many rabbit puns.

And last but certainly not least, we have my chosen tanking class to go through the story with, Warrior! Got a fire axe for hunting ice giants.

Selru, a white furred veena viera boy, looking quite gentlemanly in the Adders barracks. He's wearing the neo kingdom casting top, lvl 89 monk pants, the lvl 99 bard gloves, and the lvl 99 redmage boots.

I personally love the asymmetry brought on by the hand gear, only the hand weilding the ifrit axe having an actual glove on it and instead it looks like fancy jewelry laden sleeves ends for his top.

For his melee class, I've chosen viper. It's the simplest outfit, but the striking red and black coloration of the robes stands out to me, and what's better for viper than MORE BLADES.

Selru, a white furred veena viera boy, wearing the Br'aaxskin headband of aiming (metallic orange and Dalamud Red), Iridescent top of casting, my beloved Kumbhira gloves of the black Gryphon I adore and also used for Red mage dyed another color, lvl 89 dancer bottoms (unseen - boy keeps upskirting me so I gave him fancy pants), and lvl 89 Gunbreaker boots.

A closeup of Selru wearing his viper outfit described in the earlier image in a more relaxed pose.

For his healing class, I've given his white mage his usual lvl 100 gemkeeper top I've been using for redmage, but with the lvl 99 reaper gloves, 89 gunbreaker pants, and the lvl 99 machinist boots. His weapon was chosen to represent the world tree and the eagle on top of it.

Selru, a white furred veena viera boy, doing /vpose as a white mage, his arms spread out and head turned away. He's wearing a regal looking red top with long fingerless gloves, pants with belt running up the leg, and knee high boots. His weapon is a white wooden cane grown around gemstones and adorned with feathers and jewelry with spectral butterflies.

We know that not all of Evercold is gonna be snow and ice and cold, so for his physranged main (Dancer) I've made an outfit that's for slightly warmer weather but still long sleeved and layered.

Selru, a white haired Veena boy, doing either /vpose or /bstance as a dancer. He's wielding fans, and wearing the lvl 99 bard top, mistwake pants, and lunar envoy white boots. His gloves are fingerless and he's wearing the little monk crown with the ribbons.

It's just the head and body being used in this outfit, but this means I get to show off Selru's main Winterized Evercold glam for Red mage! (I'll post his other glams in the thread)

Selru (A white furred Viera with tufted ears) wearing the newest top and headpiece Tataru gave us in soot black and dalamud red. He's wearing some thick boots with a gold chain, some baggier (goldsmithing) pants with some red and gold fabric peaking out the bottom like an undershirt, clawed bicep high gloves, and wielding his signature manderville rapier with the crescent moon focus. He's standing in front of a monochrome greyscale abstract background.

Items used (other than weapon):
- The newest top and headpiece (Cannot remember what it's called off the top of my head)
-Kumbhiraskin gloves of the gryphon
- Gemsoph's trousers
-Baronal long boots.

Reasoning's for choices

Top and hood are layers for keeping the cold out.
Baggier pants allow for warmer leggings under and extra air for insulation, plus the top bits of the pants look like a shirt under the top, adding TO said top.
Long gloves keep snow from getting in and the claws actually let him pick stuff up like chopsticks, and I liked the gold accents it adds
Mostly black to absorb the sun for heat, with his usual red and gold accents.

Looking good! Always great to see one's progress (I have to admit the thing behind your hand was what I first saw when I was scrolling down and I just.. Started laughing cause I thought it was some sort of cartoon Frog going "Mm yes good this satisfies me." to the yarn you were 'presenting' it.)

A close up of a metal "frog face' where some sort of screw hole got mistaken by me for eyes and the seams look vagulely like a broad and somewhat straight smile like " :] " Reminds me of some frog plushies I saw yesterday. The reflections on the brassy metal makes it look like it has rosy cheeks and a pale chin.

I mean, I think Selru looks pretty good regardless of hair length, as long as it's a style that doesn't give him a big forehead

A picture with Two Selru's (A white haired Veena Vierqo'te with Green slit eyes and white hair) wearing ruby red bejeweled outfits. The Selru on the left is wearing his hair long and down, braided on the side with some of his hair pinned up. The other Selru is wearing a crescent moon and has short scruffy hair.

Same shot as the 10th image in the previous post, but this time you can see Edmont, Artoriel, Emmanellain and Honoroit's faces. Em is clearly about to say something in appropriate - picture taken moments before disaster (Disaster being a head smack from his dad)

Let's start this with Selru -- Who do YOU think this Manic Pixie Dream Vierqo'te of a Gleaner would be hot with?

A picture of Selru, a white haired Veena Vierqo'te with slit emerald green eyes, white freckles, and sharp fangs, as he grins at the camera. He is currently sporting his oddly hornlike antlers, which have turned brassy after a bit of light poisoning (Don't worry about it) signifying he's in musth in this photo.

Selru's Moms -- Sigrun and Edda! Sigrun is his biomom and she's an Archon (Genetic engineering) while Edda is his non-bio mom, who like Selru is a Gleaner.

Sigrun Hrinir is a pale veena with dark green eyes, white freckles, a tiny carbuncle gem-like red horn, and a red tattoo on her nose. Her hair is pulled back and dyed black with red streaks, and she looks extremely serious in her expression.

Edda is a Rava with dark black skin and white markings on her face with pink eyes. Her ears are fat and fluffy and her hair is smooth, silky, and black. She's dressed in a Gleaner uniform. Edda looks generally sweet and pleasant in her expression

100x56 gold archon eggs for a total of 5600 points
50 x 22 Silver archon eggs for 1100
30 x 54 Bronze archon eggs for 1620
1 x 464 Leafkin sprigs for 464

For a total (and High) score of 8784 points, gifting a final award of 88 eggs.

My three Bunbois. My Main Wol, (Y')Selru Hrinir(-Tia), a Vierqo'te of High mountain Veena stock Alakalm Solanaris: From a Nomadic group of Viera who survive in the harsh aether thin habitat of The Burn and Hrafn Setlas - An Older Rava with joints like a scottish fold since his youth. Alt WoL

Selru Hirinir is a White haired Veena withith matching freckles and bright green eyes. He's sitting on the floor wearing a dalamud red Gleaner Uniform and pack

Alakalm is a Veena with short two toned peachy colored hair. He's got a big birthsmark on his left (our right) side of his face and one eye is peach while the other is a pale silvery white. He's wearing earthtones and wielding two large viper blades. He also has two antler spikes growing from his forehead and short, sort of rounded ears. He's an Ormejeger (Worm hunter) Viera, a subspecies that evolved from the Veena and Rava that survived the transformation of what was once a jungle into the aether starved desert that is the burn. They live off of hunting vilekin and migrating animals for food and water. Hrinir's clan, the Solanaris, actually has a lot of beast masters and use gryphons to harvest water from the clouds.

Hrafn is a Flop eared Rava with Feathery muttonchops and black and blue hair. He's got a dark smudge on his nose from age and dark freckles. His eyes are sort of sunken in from centuries of chronic pain. not shown -- he's quite tall due to having pawed digitigrade paws with no beans with black fur. Like Alakalm, He's friendlier than he looks. Selru looks friendly and is also friendlier than he looks which is a serious accomplishment.

See this is why I headcanon my Vierqo'te's ears lower on their head and hyper mobile like a Miqote's and almost always end up posing them in G poses cause its not only cute but allows for less empty space at the top. However airplaning them takes a lot of horizontal canvas too so [lippop] yeah

Selru running out of the underground ruins of Uldah post bloody banquet. He's a white haired veena viera with max length ears and long white hair. He's wearing the paglthan top cause its fucking hot in Uldah and I use it as a Rava outfit he got from his Non-biological grandmother.

Selru, Alphinaud, and Tataru being introduced to Edmont by Haurchefant in Fortemps manor. Selru's ears are airplaned as he nervously introduces himself to the man who's taking them in with a wave as Haurchefant puts a comforting hand on his shoulder. Tataru looks up to him while Alphinaud handles the vocal introductions with his hand over his heart. The shot is taken from over Edmont's shoulder. Alphinaud and Tataru are wearing the coats they wear in the cutscene, while Selru is wearing a Dalamud red rebel's coat.

Even though he was born in Sharlayan, Selru knew once he hit 50 or his dads got too old to raise sons for the Hrinir clan, he'd be the one to take over and train them as a mentor figure, and he saw it as being a dad. However he ended up adopting Maelie a bit earlier than that, sort of by accident...

Maelie, the girl who was tossed off the top of the Vault during the heavensward patches and rescued by Vidofnir (and Selru in his canon - he jumped off to snag her and was calculating spells to slow the landing when he spotted Vidofnir), and is part of the Charlemend custom delivery quests, where she gets this fancy outfit and starts working for the hospital. Selru loves his adoptive daughter so much.

Selru was bullied growing up, but it was pretty mild compared to most NPC's. The main 'tragedy' he has is his Engagement was broken due to things he couldn't control 'for his own good', and it triggered the Echo in him and made him think he was developing complications from being a Vierqo'te.

I actually recently was trying to figure out how Eorzeans did signatures, since the Eorzean alphabet REALLY Does not lend to cursive, so I ended up designing Selru's signature similar to one would do a Sigil, combining the letters to create a design! (and not repeating any) Here is "Y'selru Hrinir"!

A sigil created out of combining Eorzean letters. Y stands alone at the top, Separate and small to represent the Seeker clan name. The second symbol is a combination of the Eorzean letters for S, e, l, r, and u, while the Third Symbol is the combination of H, r, i, n, and r. The lot of it is in a square, framing it like an official chop/stamp. The Graphic is somewhat blurry and black and white -- clearly taken with a camera super up close and unable to get a sharp focus, but is clearly legible.

Selru has bright red Natural eyeliner (like literally a birthmark) that he frequently adds to to give himself more miqo'te-esk markings. Face painting is also a very important part of Hrinir culture. He's got Ceremonial, Formal, and war paint. (Some VERY Rough mockups below)

Selru is a white furred Vierqo'te with wide set ultra fluffy ears and bright green slit eyes. Here he's shown in Ceremonial face paint -- Fancy catseye eyeliner in red, three stripes on the cheek similar to a cats, and meteor like markings in reds and orange on either side of his eye and between his eyebrows. He also has a sort of lowercase i marking down the bridge of his nose. He's wearing deep red lipstick.

Selru with his Formal make up -- its is primarily the lipstick, catseye markings, and lower case i nose bridge facepaint. It is much simpler than his ceremonial but clearly inspired by it.

Selru in Praetorium cutscene with his warpaint -- he has much more tiger-like and Kabuki inspired face paint in red black and white, seeming to be a mix of tiger and snow leopard marks. The meteor motif is back: The Hrinir clan has a high proportion of members with Echoes, and even those without the echo are exposed to the imagery. Selru did not realize the significance of the markings until shadowbringers, but wore them frequently through out his time as wol.
