An issue with getting better at getting a crowd is I am also getting way too many volunteers too quickly. I don't like to turn anyone away so I have been trying to hypnotize multiple people at once. It's a lot harder but I did manage to make 4 people's arms go completely limp in quick succession.

Had such a fun time doing street hypnosis yesterday. Blew the mind of 2 people that told me they don't believe in hypnosis. Made like 6 people's arm go completely limp and unable to move. Hearing the person talk to their friends afterwards as they walk away explaining how wild it was is so fun.

One of the most important skills I would recommend new hypnotists practice is how to adapt on the fly. A session will never go as expected and suggestions will never be interpreted the same way by two different people. Honestly doing a bit of improv could do a lot.

It went well. I think I learned a lot about the process and was happy that I managed to hypnotize 3 out of 4 people. I have learned one important thing: stay in the shade. Turns out strangers are a lot more okay with someone approaching them if they are not super sweaty from standing in the sun

I've been reading "hypnosis without trance" which I highly recommend to people already comfortable with hypnotizing people. There is a bit of review but it's reshaping how I view the hypnotic process and is putting into words many things I have previously considered but not heard elsewhere.
