I've seen suggestions that what happens at the lake in will be equivalent to the black monster room from the sword route. I saw a twitter user @spoofymaru post this image that maps that room onto the lake, and the apparent growing soul in Noelle would explain the mirrored movement. 🧵 #deltarune

when i was younger i thought that status moves in pokémon that alter stats would just add/subtract from the base stats. e.g. using sword dance would only increase the pokémon's attack base stat by 2 as opposed to DOUBLING it. so i did not think that status moves were good and never used them
