The problem with this type of propaganda is that people live in these communities. They gossip, they post. They talk. Politicians seem to forget this. People will believe your lies until one of those does not fit in with their truth. The more lies you tell, the less people believe you.

I agree. It's just that women have been carrying this responsibility and suffering all of the consequences for so long. We're hurt. We're tired. And angry. When men talk about how socializing is now harder because they have to be so careful, it brings out all our frustration and pain and rage.

It's not that young males are to blame for what men did 50 years ago. It's that grown men now need to do the inner work to see all these things in themselves and then help younger men navigate it. Become the example in real life, in their communities. And also call out other men's behaviour.

This is very interesting. You now are very vigilant about giving off wrong signals and that makes the interaction worse for you. That's exactly how women have felt for generations and still feel. That was the point of the thread. Interactions aren't harder now. The burden is just shared more.

We need rich people who care to do this work to buy enough of these companies' shares to be on their boards and make the changes happen. We need regular citizens to fight locally to change regulations and switch to green energy everywhere.

Part of the problem is the stock market. People who invest in oil companies don't care about anything but their profit, otherwise they would invest in green energy or other innovative sectors. Changing directions means reinvesting in the company and thinking long term.
