I could cry about this because I keep moving when I don’t want to on days. And right now I kinda want to give up on my current health journey. I hate being sickly, I wish I was a healthy human and never feel like a complete failure. I gotta keep going.

When I say this community doesn’t deserve anything, I truly mean it. The makers and devs, who do this for free, in this community do this as a passion project for a game they love. Please stop doing this to them. (Cont)

As you all know, Ulli has been dealing with health issues for the past year, and she was finally called in for her first surgery recently. She is currently recovering so they can do her other leg, but recovery takes a lot of energy and she's in a lot of pain a lot of the time.

Unfortunately, and especially when it comes to Everyone Bites, people have been DMing her to demand bugfixes, when it is directly against our rules to do so.

Stop DMing Ulli to report bugs.
Do NOT DM her to demand that she fixes her mods.

This is disrespectful of her time and hard work, and especially disrespectful of her as a person and of the time, energy and rest she needs for recovery.

Ulli has been working on and maintaining these mods for free for years, for all of us. She doesn't owe anyone anything, especially not during a time when she's recovering from health issues, constantly in pain and with little energy to spare.

As such, anyone we find DMing Ulli about mod fixes will be banned from the Rotunda going forward, and Ulli reserves the right to ignore and/or block the users in question too. We ask that you all be patient and find other ways to play while Ulli focuses on getting better. If you find any bugs, feel free to report them in everyone-bites-feedback and otopop-feedback so we can keep track of what needs fixing, and Ulli will get to it when she gets to it.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding, and to those who have been DMing Ulli directly, a plague be upon ye. Do better, or else. (edited)

Straight from the developer mouth. Please stop using unofficial sources of C+. This community doesn’t deserve anything nice at this point.

from
Risa the Customize+ Developer:
ーーー
Hello. While we are getting Customize+ update ready (which Is going to be available soon, l promise!), I would like to quickly talk about something we have encountered during this update cycle that is going to be an issue once people start installing new Customize+ update.
We have encountered an unusually high amount of people spreading and using non-official builds of Customize+ before it was ready for release this time around. I completely understand eagerness to get your WoLs to look like you are used to seeing them.
If I were you I'd feel the same. But...
All of those builds were either based on the proposed code which was not ready for the release or were modified using vibecoding techniques (Al).
At least some of those versions are confirmed to modify Customize+ configuration data in a way not compatible with the official plugin. Additionally some versions are known to crash other people when used with character synchronization plugins.

During the past several days we have repeatedly used various communication channels to warn players about possible issues related to using third party modifications of Customize+.
Therefore we ask you to refrain from asking for any help or reporting any issues if you have used unofficial builds of Customize+ in any capacity.
That includes forks, your own builds based on code from the official repository, etc.
For the time being we also ask you to not report crashes related to Customize+ when using any synchronization plugins no matter if you have used unofficial Customize+ builds or not.
We thank you for your understanding, have a great day!
