Politically Homeless. Can't stand Far Left or Far Right. MAGA going to Hell after this life! Recently converted to side of Medicare For All. If we can give BILLIONAIRES so much taxpayer money, we can pay for people to see a doctor when they're sick!

I'm not so sure. Some of these students are the very same ones that refused to vote for Harris because of Gaza. We got Trump instead and Gaza fell anyway. The least they can do is walk 30 minutes away to try and fix it.

If a Progressive wins the primary, I'm cheering them on and voting for them. If a Centrist wins the primary, I'm cheering and voting for them. Voting for the Dem candidate that has the best chance of winning. I don't have the luxury of being a single issue voter or a "my candidate or bust" voter!

I went silent because you have nothing but rage and misinformation. You've called my a liar twice not being able to point out one lie I've told. No sense trying to argue with that. Would rather spend my time on rational people. Have a good evening SIR.

I'll never forget Trump being able to brag about grabbing women by their private parts and Hillary, who had pneumonia not being allowed to cough in public. American misogyny is wild!

... For goodness sakes, it makes zero sense to stand there with arms folded lobbing insults from the sidelines just because you didn't get your way in the primary. That's how we lost!

Not saying that's not a valid argument. But we can't afford to be one issue voters right now. Not with democracy hanging by a thread. Vote for whomever you'd like in primaries but for goodness sakes, vote for the primary winner even if it's not your preferred candidate....

Or we get people that lost everything after voting for Trump and now realize a MAGA vote will lead to more death, destruction and chaos and will vote better in 2028.

Not only are you all sabotaging her, you are sabotaging the Dem party. Not sure how many times that strategy has to fail before you get it. We are all paying the price for it right now.

Yes, I see the trend. Trash her all election cycle, but grudgingly vote for her. Then execute the same strategy again and trash her some more while complaining she can't win. Ridiculous.

MimiK @mimik83.bsky.social · 22/02/2026
She got 75 million of them to vote for her. And would get more if people stop sabotaging her campaign before it even begins. There are millions of MAGA voters out there with regrets for voting for Trump. If Dems can pull it together, we can get tons of them to vote for her.

No one is entitled to your vote but remember you only get one vote. Use it wisely. No one gets their perfect candidate be it Harris or anyone else. The willingness to sit back and watch the country fall to fascism bc the Dem candidate wasn't "perfect enough" is wild to me.

She was an excellent candidate. She wasn't a good to some because too many had a "my candidate or no one" attitude about her. Thankfully some have seen the consequences of that strategy and even some that voted Trump have seen the same consequences. If we all pull together, any Dem can win!

Anyone complaining about Harris before she even announces a run, or about Jeffries, before he even becomes Speaker or still crying over Bernie's loss from 10yrs ago to me is far left. Yes, Dems need you to win but you all need Dems to win also. Dems lose, the country loses. Don't forget that.

... huge voices. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. We can't take another 4yrs of MAGA rule. Would be nice of the far left could support the party even when their preferred candidate doesn't win the primary. We all need to pull together to drag the party over the finish line. Whatever it takes!

Again, the far left trashes her all the way up to the election and then complain when she loses. Maybe you as an individual voted for her after trashing her but there were many persuaded by all the garbage talk who stayed home or voted 3rd party. Remember lots of small voices combined turn into...

At some point, the Bernie Bros are going to have to accept that he lost. He wasn't cheated, it wasn't rigged, he just lost! You guys are the left's version of MAGA, I swear!

If this happens the "my candidate or bust" will deserve to suffer the consequences of that loss more than anyone else. You guys are so ridiculous!

Two of the most qualified candidates to ever run happen to be women. Both lost to the dumbest, most unqualified, most ignorant man to ever run. The US talks a good game about equality but sadly, will certainly not elect a woman (especially a Black woman) for POTUS. Not in our lifetimes.

Compare that to the Black woman in Texas sentenced to 5yrs in prison for voting while on probation.

A slap on the wrist. Maricopa County Superior Court. Judge Aryeh Schwartz sentenced him to 2 years of supervised probation. He is ineligible to run for public office for 5 years, and must pay $5,000 fine with 10% surcharge.

Not feeling bad for them at all. They voted to inflict evil onto others, they just didn't think it would turn around and hit them. Karma never forgets. Maybe vote better next time?

I agree with you. I am so angry at the group of left leaning influencers who are already attacking Newsom for president. Is he perfect, NO. but is he doing 500% better than most Democrats out there, yes. We are at harm reduction at this point.

I agree. They don't fight nearly hard enough. My point is let's focus on putting in people that'll actually fight and pressure the Speaker (whoever it turns out to be) to go to the party instead of the party coming to them. If it's Jeffries, he'll need to earn the party votes to get things done.

... how does that happen? Once voice becomes many. B4e you know we're fighting amongst each other while MAGA walks right back into Power. Most of us can't can't stomach that happening, reason emotions are so raw. We'd rather keep our eyes on turning ppl out for midterms. The stakes are so high!

... WE don't pick the Speaker, their collogues do. So people can dislike Jeffries all they want, they won't get a vote on who becomes Speaker. Be upset if that happen sure, but why trash the party before we even have the election? It can demoralize people sitting on the fence into not voting...

I wasn't agreeing with calling you stupid. I never did that. I was agreeing with everything they say in the post about the failed strategy and the fact they pointed out Jeffries has no Power to make anything happen from the minority position. I especially agree with them pointing out the fact...

...they don't get to just do what they want. They need Votes. People can push their agenda by contacting their particular representative about what they want them to push the Speaker to do.

Yours just happened to be the post I responded to, the last one in the thread at the time. Just pleading with all to show up and vote, no matter who the next Dem Speaker may be. Keep in mind they will need the votes of their party to get things done. Speaker is not an "individual" job...

What did I make up? It's not just your post. It's the number of people banding together to trash the party. Small voices become big voices in that scenario and could discourage many from voting for Dems. I wasn't targeting you personally, talking to everyone on this "F*uck Jeffries" band wagon.

MimiK @mimik83.bsky.social · 21/02/2026
... seems like you don't care if we win if Jeffries winds up being Speaker. Millions of us do and are desperate to get back some control of the country. We're all on the same side hopefully but we have to work together to pull the party across the finish line.

MimiK @mimik83.bsky.social · 21/02/2026
... how about just getting Dems back in Power and let the people who actually have a vote decide who the Speaker is. Sure, dislike him all you want but it's a fight best done AFTER we've regained Power. We've got to do everything we can to make that happen.

MimiK @mimik83.bsky.social · 21/02/2026
I've based it on you trashing Jeffries when he isn't even Speaker yet. I say refusing to help the party regain Power bc while you think publicly trashing Jeffries and the Dems doesn't hurt them because you still plan to vote for them, others may feel the same way but stay home...

All this emotion and passion but elections are not won by screaming about what you don't like about your own party and then screaming about them not being able to get your priorities done from the minority position bc you didn't vote for them. Just doesn't work that way...

Point out my lie. Obama didn't have the VOTES for single payer. Do you understand how that works? He got what he could and helped MILLIONS get healthcare. We are NEVER going to get single payer with a party that can't strategize and run on my candidate or bust. It only leads to MAGA control.
