iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

You’d think, wouldn’t you?!!

001

City of Death 4 for me. I would include An Unearthly Child, Web of Fear & possibly Space Museum 1 to that list. Invasion of Time 4 would be there too

000

…the characters who don’t continue into the TOS era will depart the storyline. Uhura showed her badass side, Chapel seems convinced at how Mbenga will leave, Spock & Kirk’s bond grows stronger & Scotty continues to build his reputation. Great writing, great acting. Great drama! Loved it. 4.5/5

That was really powerful stuff! It reminds me of several other Trek episodes where a crew member has doubt cast on them & they have to rely on their friends & crew mates’ trust in them as a person to resolve their situation. Kirk truly became the man we knew here & we learned more about how…tbc

Sounds like a certain president!

I’ve heard that Trump is going to rename the San Andreas Fault after Joe Biden!

That’s what I get. If I click manage options unless I then select advertising preferences & then scroll down the entire list manually deselecting the ones that automatically allow cookies, I am exposing my device(s) to unwanted intrusion

000

I get this on my laptop as well, so as far as I knew it was something that everyone else gets, certainly my wife gets it too & she’s pretty clued up regarding the tech.

000

I’m not a techie dude, there may well be something I’m doing wrong or not doing. All I know is that I get this particular pop up that appears occasionally on certain sites or games & it does my crust in because unlike most similar pop ups I don’t have the option to reject all or decline all

000

I CAN access it but I still have to go through 10 minutes + of manually deselecting advertising cookies, which I don’t have enough time to do every time this comes up. I really don’t want to mess you around but I would like to vote

The God Complex Sorry, unable to vote via the link

His day will come. Hopefully first though, justice will catch up with him big time!!!

Stone cold classic. It’s in my top 10 from the whole run

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

3 snaps. Possibly at least 1 golden

Oh I get it! I’m still stunned that when we did Fugitive of the Jason as our NHS Charity Special that we got Vinay Patel to take part in it! Considering what we did to it he was such a great sport!

020

I hope you get to add Doctor Who to this list at some point!

I was expecting that, but they are planned to come out in paperback eventually I presume?

Moments like this make you smile for years!

Just letting you know that you’re still reaching people on BlueSky

000

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

It’s mostly on my phone that I get it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not ruining my life lol but if I could live without ever seeing it again I would be content

000

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I wish I knew a way to stop it happening because it stops me from accessing several sites or games I would otherwise visit

100

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Isn’t Jim Broadbent also supposedly in S6 of OMITB? If so that’s 3 official & 1 Curse of Fatal Death! Mind you we don’t yet know if all 3 (4) will be in the same episode(s)

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

It just goes to a “select cookies” popup & doesn’t give an option to reject all, meaning if I want to go further I have to wade through several minutes of manual selection, which I refuse to do otherwise I would lose hours of my life if I did this every time I am on a site that does this

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

I can’t access the site without spending 20 minutes disabling cookies, so can I just say Battlefield please?

& in our differences of opinion we find common ground & being reasonable, intelligent adults, our friendship endures

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

…& in Terry Nation’s case, storylines too!! Lol

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

He was utterly magnificent in this!

I’m constantly amazed that it’s as high as it is!!! How nearly 1/3rd can still approve is beyond comprehension. 3% would be too high!!!

Billie, Janet Fielding & numerous Doctor Who references, indeed! Also we just started watching the Aussie version of Ghosts & have already spotted a “Keep calm & call the Doctor” t-shirt lol

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

How about $1k an hour instead of?

Miles Northcott @milohub.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

The reasons to remove him continue to pile up. Sooner or later climbing that pile will be regarded as a greater achievement than climbing Everest!!

The Hinchcliffe era in particular & Ark through to Sunmakers in particular is so strong. I know there are stories that some disregard within that run…Experiment, Revenge, Planet of Evil, Android Invasion, Masque, Hand, Face, Invisible Enemy, but the strengths are still there & I love them all

For me it’s the peak period for quality in the show’s history. Production values, music, believability, acting…all top notch. The scripts were tight, the Doctor/companion relationship has never been bettered. It was played straight but with the quirky, humorous undertones.
