Saw 'The Lost Boys' musical tonight. There were things I liked a lot about it, and some things I didn't love. I liked some of the character tweaks; they could structure some of this towards a heavier remake if they tried. Set it on Coney Island and subway tunnels vs Santa Clara.

What a great night at Red Rocks with The Head and the Heart and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra! We got to watch rehearsal and take a tour backstage before the show. We both really liked the opener, Evan Honer, and the night couldn't have been more perfect. Back again tomorrow!

Camden Yards is just a superior park in every way… other than being in Baltimore, that was a tough city. It’s clearly a struggling city, you can see it on every corner. There were areas of the city that for lack of better words, felt ‘hopeless’, and it was hard to see.

As parks go, there are really 3 reasons to come here if you’re an opposing fan. 1) You’re on a school field trip. 2) You have to hit all 30 parks. 3) You’re in Baltimore to watch your favorite team already. It’s just staggering the differences in park quality an hour apart.

In a perfect world, the Capitol would have been a visual centerpiece at this park. 4) Very little shaded areas in the park, which goes back to AAAA. I don’t melt, but a lot of fans do, especially in summer DC heat.

2) This is a AAAA park at best. Lower bowl concessions are limited and repeating, and the few ‘popular’ ones are up a level, which takes more time. 3) How do you build a ballpark in DC and not capitalize on the sights?
