@geraldmcgrew.bsky.social I bought this book yesterday and after reading the introduction, I'm excited to read this book. I'm not a lawyer, but in my 69 years of life I had never encountered the term "horizontal judicial review." I encourage everyone to read this book. It's eye opening.

In my younger days I worked in an investment casting plant (basically a foundry) and there was always that day's newspaper scattered around the break room. People don't read a lot anymore. My 37 year old daughter told me she gets her news from podcasts.

Right. The $1.7 billion Obama paid to Iran was a settlement of an old claim Iran made. Iran paid $400 million for military equipment it never received because of the 1979 revolution. We refunded their money plus interest and it was paid in foreign currency.

Whether we're up against Republicans bowing to Trump and his billionaire friends, or corporate Democrats selling out working people to please their wealthy donors... Across the country, we're electing leaders up and down the ballot to take back power for the people.
Hello there. We're the Working Families Party, a political third party organizing inside, outside, and on top of the two-party system in the United States. We take on elections from city council to U.S. Senate — wherever there's a path to win, and where winning will advance an agenda that supports everyday working people. Comment 'joinWFP' or visit the link in our bio for ways to get involved and support our movement to build a nation that works for all of us.
