Stephen Miller @miller-flash-1066.bsky.social · 29/04/2026I was struck today by how rays of sunlight illuminated the painted underside of this owl’s wing, in an oil by the British figurative artist Stephen Cook (‘Night Owl’, 2021). The effect was sudden & very beautiful, dare I say revelatory. My photo hardly does it justice. It has stayed with me all day. 010
