I've also been assaulted in the style of a 10 year old girl, spat at twice (an African and an Iraqi-looking one), they've made homophobic remarks (an African one). There'll surely be heartbreaking stories to tell. On both sides of the equation. The bourgeois brits don't want to acknowledge that.

Letter (badly) written on behalf of an 84 year old lady in hospital from Carrickmacross, ROI, after she's been broken into 3 times by refugees dumped in a completely inappropriate area. There are loads of these IPAS centres near schools in ROI. The Irish are v angry and rightly so, imo.

It's a perfectly reasonable piece of writing. I think one of the things that middle-class brits either underestimate or don't care about or both is the number of wasted lives of people born here, for all sorts of reasons, such as the entrenched class structure.

Yep. It was out of my comfort zone that post. I'm sorry to say it but I'm seeing far too many examples of what you might describe as the type of decadence seen in the 1920s that didn't end well in all sorts of ways. It's disconcerting as well as pathetic..
