MILKSHROOM #1, a comics collection, including a brand new story, BILLIE & MALLORY, as well as some older work of mine. I'll be selling this along with some prints at CAFE, a comics event in Eugene on the 18th, before later releasing it on itch. Hope you enjoy! bookswithpictureseug.com/pages/cafe

The cover of MILKSHROOM #1. The author, Sunny, sits floating in the cloudy sky with their cup of tea and a mushroom inexplicably growing next to her.

The first page of BILLIE & MALLORY.
Panel 1: BILLIE is on the street, holding up their camera.
"Ok, so, the bad news... I got fired today."

Panel 2: MALLORY at a couch looking up from her computer.
"...Oh shit, for real?"

Panel 3: BILLIE smokes a blunt while sitting on a couch. They are both indoors.

Panel 4: BILLIE answers while breathing out.
"...Yeah."

hey folks, i got some news to share but i'm very exhausted from work. maybe i'll reveal it tomorrow. weekend present. For now, some few weeks old #DELTARUNE #fanart. Played the game last month for the first time and adored it. Don't worry, looking back the drawings are actually pretty cool imo.

Susie looking away as Ralsei below them gives a heart and a wink to the viewer.

Ralsei with his arms back, Kris (RW) looking a bit sus, Susie flipping off the viewer saying "faggot," and Noelle exhausted.

Little notes read: "I still love DELTARUNE." "I'm so tired, why do I suck at art" "I had to use a lot of reference. I feel guilty. IDK how to feel."

On the bottom right is a jumbled mess of shapes that have no meaning. I was tired at the time.

Also I'm working on a smaller comic project (as I do.) So lookout for that

Thinking of using itch.io instead of Ko-fi. I also got rid of some art I made a year or so ago bc I didn't like them. Sorry to my fellow archivists, I've let you down. Some rough pieces I made recently for otherside, a big comic project of mine. #art #comic #comics #conceptart

Casey, and his friends Jules (left) and Emerson (right) watch a meteor shower surrounding the same eclipsed sun. Emerson sits on a picnic blanket with a sketchbook in hand under a tree. Jules sits on a bench next to a picnic basket. Casey merely stands. The clouds and clothes are yellow while the flora is a pale blue. The sky is an off black purple.

The same boy, Casey, walks out of a pale door with a pale field inside, and out to a golden forest also in the sky. In the distance, purple clouds fill a starry sky, populated by a lone red tower. An eclipsed sun watches over.

A boy named Casey, standing under a tree. He looks out into a fantasy world. A forest among the skies. Stars flicker above, clouds creep along mountains and a river.

I'm not sure if this is said a lot, but I absolutely love getting these every week. Such a treat. It truly inspires me as a cartoonist to keep trying. I hope these sillies the best!

i'm tired. i was working on something for about a week or two and now i just hate it. everything i make is too self indulgent and/or already been done by me or done better by someone else. nothing i do is creative or interesting. i have nothing to offer. i just want to give up sometimes

i like how franky's face is obscured in this page, it reinforces the "introspective" and distant feelings

I have so many ambitions as an artist but my mind is always wanting to do something more exciting and new. i'm a little too in my head. i want to do so much but i think trying to go everywhere is just killing me. i wish i could just focus on one art form, or one project at a time

030

Milkshroom @milkshroom.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

I think I have a lot of anxiety and adhd paralysis around my art and posting things. I haven't really made anything of substance and I wish I did more. I want to make videos but I never get around it. Its the same feeling I have with movies rn. I'm so burned out and spread thin on everything ugh

It's strange, I've been feeling exactly the same as you I'd say try not to force yourself, or perhaps create a schedule. Those helped me not feel obligated to watch movies
