The crazy thing is somehow Nintendo is looking like the best console company right now 😭

MilkBreadTB @milkbreadtb.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

I've been struggling a lot with resource advantage. Like 0 vs 1 and 1 vs 2. It's difficult to make a push pull on resources that are basically binary. Any thoughts?

Wonderful art! Very important question though, what in the world kind of run is happening in the background of the diamond showcase?!

This makes a lot of sense as to why lyath and tuffnut feel so different from RKO and Pleiades. Both of them are top down designs. I feel like we can kind of all agree the intellect experiments in super slam are very awkward.

Good change! Allies not being able to be clashed with or on block abilities generally just not working if they needed a defending hero just never made sense to me... Very excited for PEN!

Ever want to safely visit the vast expanse of nothingness? Spattered with unknowable atrocities, this no-threshold site would be a wonderful getaway.

I'm going to guarantee this is a result of their cost cutting measure of not doing "stamped" promos anymore. Since they are now using regular foil sheets they probably just messed up allocation since this was the first set to do it.

I remember when monarchs weren't a "combo" deck. While yes, they still kinda play on a different axis by being a semi lock out strategy, I miss the days of stormforth into Caius as the premier midrange strategy.

Idk, I don't know when we became a country that celebrated death. Especially on our own soil. All of it is sick. A life was lost, whether you believe that happened is right or wrong does not matter. I hope we can heal morally as a country.

How about we get a solution to house prices? Nono actually here's a plan that changes nothing because taking this deal would mean lifelong debt with a minimal change in monthly costs :D

It at least explains why kai'sa is so strong. If you just play the best sorcery speed cards and play towards that you'll never get got. Just very sad that it makes my Leona deck 10 trillion times worse...

110

MilkBreadTB @milkbreadtb.bsky.social · 10/11/2025

Now that doesn't sound horrible, until you realize interaction decks are now held hostage by the turn player. Since your mana is use it or lose it on every action that makes a closed state (the time you can play reactions) the turn player has full control over how and when you are able to play cards
