Follow along with Steve on his visit to York! 🚂 After getting the train up from Bristol, Steve spent the afternoon visiting York Art Gallery, where he enjoyed looking at the exhibits and taking photographs. He said: "There are two paintings in the stairwell that I couldn't believe the quality..."

This year’s #LDWeek asks ‘Do you see me?’, focusing on people with learning disabilities being valued.  So, let’s talk about co-production! This approach to support has the ethos: ‘Nothing about us without us’ – staff and people we support work as equal partners to make decisions which affect them.

This #LDWeek, we are throwing the spotlight to Helen!  Helen is one of our Experts by Experience, a paid staff member who is also supported by Milestones, which means she often attends meetings to help shape how the Trust is run and provides feedback on initiatives.
A quote from Helen's article in our internal magazine saying: 'It was my suggestion to go to the Arnolfini as one of my works was showcased as part of the AIM (Art in Motion) exhibitions. I chose to combine three different places that are all important for me for different reasons on my painting. For many people attending, it was their first time visiting the Arnolfini. It was nice to see people having fun looking at the art and being inspired to do more creative things.'
