New Stuntman is the big surprise and highlight of the State of Play. New God of War stuff is just a yawn for me. I quit Ragnarok about 15 hours in and nothing has interested me since. Feels oversaturated with the different announcements like Horizon.

Obsession beat Star Wars on Wednesday...it's 2nd Wednesday. I can only get so erect.

I feel like a lot of cable channels have went this route of just doing a lot of the same show. Maybe rotate 2 similar shows if you're lucky

So for every topic you need to make sure to include anything specific to every single country on Earth. India had a unique Flintstones product? Better mention that...they'll be so alienated otherwise. Oh and Denmark? Better mention that too! (Jeez it's so ... entitled?)

I don't know, but John Matrix might take it.

I'm so thankful for Terrifier and In a Violent Nature when I watch another modern attempt at a slasher movie that is just so lame and obsessed with trying to be funny.

Can't imagine how insufferable the internet would be if Buffy was airing today and Willow had just came out. Now you get outrage by 90% bigots and a weird 10% of people who shipped the character with an obvious straight character and now feel betrayed despite no hints of it ever happening.

I knew because I suddenly stopped getting the trailer after it played before every fucking movie for 3 months

They probably would love to but it's up to the owning studio to license them out. Paramount does sometimes.

"Do you know what it costs when a corporation gives you something?" "Everything" "Everything doesn't begin to cover it" Actually yes it does. Everything is everything. The writing trying to sound deep on #AlienEarth is embarrassing.

I'm sure I've called many movies garbage than someone else finds fun in, but I'm side eyeing anyone who literally never says "this movie is stupid and I love it"

000

Peter from Mild Fuzz @mildfuzztv.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

I feel like lots of people doesn't seem to realise you can enjoy a bad movie. It's all very subjective but on one side there's folk who take it seriously and anything bad is just unforgivable trash, and then those who if they like something have to defend it like it actually amazing.

Peter from Mild Fuzz @mildfuzztv.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

The Thing is an obvious choice and I LOVE Evil Dead 2013 but I really don't consider it a remake. I'll throw out Herzog's version of Nosferatu as well.

I was so disappointed when they stopped using pre rendered backgrounds and it honestly wasn't until Village where I said "okay this is actually surpassed Remake environments"

There's an extended 60 second joke in The Naked Gun that was written for me. No one else in the audience cares but it was the funniest part of the movie to me.
