Another falshback friday, this week we're travelling to august 2019 when we had a mite infestation to deal with:

A sketchy digital drawing in colour of a girl eating a very large burrito, her mouth stretched wide open, muppet style.

a cartoon figure with a large head in a cowboy pose looks suspiciously down on a bag of flour being carried away by a bunch of tiny mites.

A cartoon drawing of a girl eating noodles from a big bowl nestled in her lap.

a cartoon girl lies flat on the floor in a pose that suggests she is about to give up.

Ok, time to get back on the horse, I may not be getting paid for it yet but I'll never get anything for it if I don't finish this comic.

Quite pleased with how this panel is coming along, went to see bog bodies in the museum and it's definitely helped a lot with pinning down how I wanted this guy to look. Feeling much less confident about getting this all done on time for DCAF though 😩

The top panel from a half inked comic passage shows a wrinkled corpse with a skull-like face clinging to someone's shoulder as it looks out at something beyond the panel.

What's your favourite limited edition sweets/chocolate?

Four panel comic, the narrator box says "we like to try new things, especially when it comes to food..." Bear says "ooh, chocolate brownie caramel swirl?" As he picks up a chocolate bar from a shelf of chocolate. In panel two the narrator box says "Bear has a weakness for 'new edition' chocolates". Bear, looking at the chocolate bar says "sounds interesting". Fox sceptically says "hmm... I dunno about that." Panel three Bear heads off with the chocolate saying "I'm gonna get it!" Fox follows saying "yeah, I figured" in panel four fox asks bear "how is it?" They sit on a couch at home with Pixel the cat. Bear responds sadly saying "yeah. It's definitely bad." The narrator says "it doesn't always end well..."

The deadlines, they're getting away from me!

Fox sits at a desk in panel one looking at a calendar. She thinks 'Ok, if I get all the inks done in the next month I should be on task to finish the colours and collate it all before the print deadline...' in panel two Fox sneezes with a big snotty Achoo. In panel three she says 'uh oh' as snot drips down the panel and from her nose. And so in panel four time spirals out of control taking Fox and her sickness with it as she cries 'blughhh, my deadlines!!'
