yesterday we stayed 7 hours without electricity, then had it for 2, and again, did not have it for 4 hours If not work, I would probably enjoy that. So quite. Feels like the world is slowing down during those hours of darkness

I feel like I had two lives - one that is kind of put on pause in Ukraine, and that new one in Sheffield, in a safe place with new people and comfort. I felt guilty that I was so safe, I missed my friends and family and that is why I came back. If not war, I would like to live there longer

When the full-scale invasion started, my son and I went from Kyiv to Sheffield and spent there 11 months. It was a hard and nice time simultaneously. So nice people and such a nice country and such hard times… I still miss the UK.
