As a journalist here's my take on the Kash Patel $250M lawsuit. Kash doesn't seem to know what "actual malice" is, and his attorneys are going to struggle to prove it. But he also painted himself into a corner. At some point, he's going to have to either drop the suit or be interviewed under oath.

The #NFL Draft site on the North Shore is just about done. As a football fan, I'm excited for the event. As a Pittsburgh resident, I'm slightly irritated that it's going to cause traffic delays, but overall- I really do think it will be a fun event!

When I was 5 or 6, my dad took me to Mickey Lolitch’s donut shop in Lake Orion. I vaguely remember him as being a giant man in every sense. But I vividly remember how kind he was and how special he made me feel to be a #Detroit Tigers fan. He was all class and he will be missed.

In places like Pittsburgh- which is a topographical nightmare for auto travel- people just didn't move. There's a joke amongst oldtimer Yinzers that if you have to cross a bridge, it's too far away (there are like 400 bridges in Pittsburgh). People stayed in their neighborhoods.

The tiny dick energy of being mad about people different than you celebrating what makes them unique.

People always wince a little when we tell them that our son goes to a Pittsburgh Public School. They act like we're sending him to a gulag. But my son is getting a good education. He's seeing and making friends with kids of all races, backgrounds and identities. It's not perfect, but it's working.
