Class trips are a thing, yes. Some towns are partnered with other towns. I went to England and Germany in high school. My sister went to Sweden. Of course, not every school does that, if only for budget reasons.

So maybe that's why I do it less now that a lot of the shows I watch are on Netflix or Viki with english titles... though it feels weird too, because technically, some of them have french titles, some people talk about those dramas to me with their french titles, and maybe I should do that too.

And now I'm wondering why I don't do the same for kdramas more. There are SOME titles that come to me in korean first, like Mawang, or Goong, but really not quite as many... I think it really boils down to what titles were used by the teams I used to get my subtitles from...

I'm all over the place about this one. I will use the title I recognize, basically. When I first got into dramas, everyone was talking about "Hana Yori Dango" and "Kimi wa petto" so these are the titles I'm used to. But I'll talk about "Un litre de larmes" and "A hundred million stars from the sky".

Not especially... I mean, I've watched movies with some horror to them (Constantine, Blade, Hungry, The last house) but that's unrelated to Halloween, I just wanted to, and not all of them are full blown horror.

Yeah, my feet are killing me... But it was fun. And we saw some pretty scenery and castles.

A picture of a castle. I can't remember its name, but it has cute towers with pointy roofs, and it sits on a few rocks. Before it is a beach of mostly rock. Also I'm in the picture, with sunglasses, looking around and looking kinda unimpressed. But it's a really cool castle.

A wide picture of the Dordogne river, with mountains full of trees all along its shores, forming a gully (I think that's the term ?) The weather is perfect.

Most of it, yeah. Our cherry tree is not supposed to bloom though. But hey, we got a full week of sun to hike, so there was that. Also I drove around 1000km last week. Lots of harsh curves, my first night drive... on the curves... We all survived.

Yes and no... some fallen leaves, we picked up some chestnuts too and roasted them, but also when we left, there were blooming flowers on the cherry tree. They're gone now. Seasons and the weather are fucked o.o

Basically same, though giant ticks worry me less than small ones. The issue with ticks is often you don't know you got one because it's small and in a place you don't see often u.u

I have no feelings towards those, I don't think I've seen them. Sometimes I think I have, but only because I mix them up with the Underworld movies, which I have seen two of.

Visually, it's very inspired by film noir and german expressionism, so it looks really cool.

A man walks in a dark, wide street. There are a few light sources from shops, it's a very film noir mood, and the water on the ground indicates it's rained recently.

At the end of a corridor, three scary men are standing. They are pale and bald, dressed in long black coats, and wearing black hats.

In a lab, a scientist is sitting, his back turned to us. The picture is dark, indicating the scientist might be working on something nefarious, in an underground secret space.

Dark City is an SF movie I don't want to say too much about, because it's good, and I think it's best not to know too much about it (which is why the Director's Cut is better, because the Theatrical One says too much at the start). www.imdb.com/title/tt0118...

I find it really helps, yeah. When I was in full hypochondia mode, I kept writing all the stuff I thought I had, and it helped take some distance. It works with other anxious thoughts too, at least for me, and hopefully for you.

I enjoyed it, it was fun, and I especially enjoyed the lead actress, but I'm not enamored with the film either. Least favorite scene was the "the ideal woman does not exist" speech, coz it felt like the movie was spelling out something that had been nicely shown already. I felt kinda talked down to.
