Green Goblin episodes truly are always the best ones, delivering great action and dialogue from begining till end. And of course the conclusion with Harry, even if i know the reality of the situation, the fact he accepts that it could be true really shows how much his father ways have broken him.

Spidey and Tombstone are in a interesting spot, even as enemies, the two can't really just truly deal with the other, so we get this mutual state of enemies that stand eachother for the same goal of the moment. This scene is awesome too, hope the third Insomniac game makes something cool like this.

It's actually really bold or really dumb that he tried that and it worked, considering most people there have meet Spider-Man in person, in Gwen's case, multiple times, so it's amazing no one realized how he has the exact proportions and exact costume as the real Spider-Man.

They have fighted only once so far and yet you can already feel how they are fated to be mortal enemies for life. And the series really does a very good job with the Green Goblin mystery, even for someone that already knows the answer, they keep throwing little things to make you doubt. BLACK CAT?

What with villains and having a driver that's their personal guard that only exists to get kicked around? First Lex Luthor, and now Hammerhead has one? But i enjoy the aspect of a inner war in the criminal underworld, this show balances so much plot points, and now we have Harry's drug addiction.

Nothing more fitting for October than a Halloween episode. And WOW, NASA must be super useless in this world if they can't even give a early warning for a freaking meteor

I really dig Doc Ock design, i know the coat is basicly just a Spider-Man 2 copy but even his high tech glasses are a unique touch. They make him from the start a villain like no other, in the fact even Spider-Man can't really defeat him alone easily, so he has to appeal for non-direct approaches.

If anything this has to be one of the most layered versions of the character in cartoons, the fact he is a genius and yet lived all his life in a small simple house, doing "the right thing" and getting no respect for it, slowly building this hateful personality that's finally free.

Ock sure misses no second in making clear he's a threat, and it's fascinating how it shows that his great mind it's his strongest point but his weakness too by how paranoid he can be, believing Spider-Man was the one that tried to kill him and just a quickly taking the enemy role.

DOCTOR OCTOPUS ORIGIN? We getting the best Spider-Man villains back to back, this show keeps on delivering! And i like the Sam Reimi touch of showing his entire skeleton, that man loves skeletons, everything he makes has skeletons in it.

Tombstone in this makes for the best animated Kingpin yet, he really nails the aspect of having control no matter what, which makes it a threat that Spidey really can't defeat as easily as any maniac on a glider, he represents the flaws in a society of looks as a whole.

Big fan of the Green Goblin design in this, and i adore the noise the pumpkin bombs make, actually the sound design of this series as a whole is great! Plus the banter between him and Spidey, these two really are rivals in the making, and deliver on a awesome fight too.

I admit that for random thugs, they must be very brave (or dumb) to think of attacking the guy that just entered the room blowing up a whole wall! And it's interesting seeing Tombstone never losing his cool no matter what happens. Plus, no one can keep MJ down, she really is a amazing one.

They have been talking about this dance for a couple of episodes now that it feels quite surprising it wasn't a season finale thing, just a part of the continuos story. Like seeing that the Daily Bugle still destroyed after Rhino's attack. And we see Eddie and Harry hate for Peter growing too.

For sometime i believe the usual Kingpin would have been best, but now i'm glad they made Tombstone into the Big Man, and make him work so well as this absolute threat in tactics and battle. Plus the way he controls everything and wants to even buy Spider-Man, THE VILLAIN IS CAPITALISM TAKEN FORM!

Really like how they make the villain defeat make so much sense and perfectly show how clever Spider-Man is, making the conclusion that much better compared to how previous shows did it.

I'm surprised the elevator even manages to lift Rhino! And this gotta be the best J.J moment in any animated show, gotta love when they capture so well that under all the yelling he's a genuine good person. Plus Spidey showing worry for Rhino's life when the plan goes south the he goes in freefall

This gotta be the best Rhino design! He still a guy in a costume instead of a mech but is a costume that doesn't look ridiculous, they somehow played the concept straight and made it look cool.

Another thing i like in this show is that they present Doc Ock before the change, when most versions of the character go right into the villain, i like that we see what kind of man will go on to become one of the most evil villains yet. And i always dig seeing villains origins!

The fight scenes in this show gotta be the best of Spider-Man's animated history so far. They are full of movement, and the way the scenarios are so angular add depth to it. Plus it's some nice theme synergy to make Electro's behaviour tie in the message of "can't help those that don't want help"

They do a good job at making you feel sorry for Max while it feels like a undestandable mistake from Spider-Man, since he still rather new to the role and simply jumps the gun instead of trying to get that things arent so simple. And i really like the Electro design, how he has the spark head shape

And look, i know perfection doesn't exist, but if you asked me to the closest thing to a perfect first episode, The Spectacular Spider-man is that! Nothing feels rushed, yet so many events happen, lots of characters get defined and everything concludes in a nice and genuine monologue!

We reach the end of another Spider-Man show. I know it's a bitter conclusion and makes people want another season to fix everything, but oddly enough, it feels like a downer but proper end, Spider-Man is truly over, he defeated all his villains and there's no more need for someone like him anymore.

And now the angst kicks in! And im surprised to see Stan Lee in this, because he usually plays only himself or a inspirational figure, so it's unexpected to see him playing the devil on Peter's shoulder this time, driving him to revenge. But i guess the twins simply know everything and control all
