Last year thanks to my wife's determination I fulfilled one of my life goals: I have visited Chand Baori in Abhaneri, India and it was super spiritual experience. The calming beauty of overwhelming geometry was like a balm to architectural part of my brain. #baori #Abhaneri #India #stepwell #surreal

Oh my... I have been away for such long time. I needed this. To beat a drum of return, a small colored sketch of The Red. I am really enjoying new Daredevil Born Again series as well as Ninja Scroll OAV I recently dug up from YT floor cracks. #daredevil #marvelcomics #comicart #fanart

Okładka do komiksu, który na peryferiach wolnego czasu i umysłu powstaje od zbyt wielu lat. Ale już niedługo! A cover to publication which grows on peripheries of spare time and mind for too many years. But soon! #comics #indiecomics #comicart #comiccover #comicsbynight #horror #darkfairytale

Mały hołd dla Moebiusa / Jeana Giraud. Ołóweczek między poważnymi obowiązkami, dla podtrzymania weny do rysowania. Small tribute to Moebius. Pencil in between serious duties, jus to keep the flow to draw. #pencilart #moebius #fanart #fanarttribute #pencil #fantasy #surreal #drawing

My first sketchbook fell on the altar of marital sacrifice (it turned into Wife's notebook during our awesome vacation). So came the time for new opening. #sketchbook #nightdoodle #sketching #ink

I came to surprising conclusion that I have never drawn a fan art of the most important comicbook of my childhood - THORGAL by Van Hamme and Rosinski. And now was time to get it out of my clogged system. #thorgal #comics #comicfanart #fanart #thorgalaegirsson

I must admit the best part in following #Inktober without actually taking part is that I can push forward all the work I planned :P

Always a bit late to #PortfolioDay ... Hi, I'm Mikolaj and I draw things to stay sane. Usually these are monsters and pictures in rows to resemble movies.

It's rare to have THAT span of time but during the weekend I managed to read ALL of Outcast comic series by @robertkirkman.bsky.social , Paul Azaceta , Elizabeth Breitweiser and Russ Wooton. It was exactly what I needed at this moment to keep my flame for comics - incredibly drawn excellent horror.

Martial art scenes are so rewarding to draw! Planning of the interaction, searching for best way to catch dynamics and movement... Every artist, especially the ones playing in comics field, should draw at least one classic martial art fight just for fun. #comics #indiecomics #comicart #martialarts

... aaaand look what company we have! I mus admit it is a small highlight of my efforts to be a one box (even for a while!) in front of Cyberpunk 2077 book, written among others by Bartosz Sztybor, a guy I look up to!

I've had a pleasure to finally get my hands on WW History: Amazons by @kellysue.bsky.social @philjimeneznyc.bsky.social @geneha.com and @nicolascottart.bsky.social . I expected a lot and this one IS SO MUCH MORE. It does something incredible: grows way above a comic as a medium to deliver story.
