Shinagawa is a bit limited on hotels (The Strings is nice, though), but it has easy access to Haneda, Narita & the Tokaido Shinkansen and is dead simple to navigate

I had the exact same experience when some tourists asked me for directions to the train station in German. I used to speak decent German 25 years ago, but since then Japanese has taken up that precious 4th language slot in my brain, and they got a head-scratcher of a mixed language answer

I guess this would be on the main SAS fleet. They also have subsidiary SAS Connect using 320neos, which are in full SAS colours, but at least not yet equipped with wifi, and then SAS Link that mainly seems to operate Embraers and CRJ's, also without wifi

Now SAS realized they don't have a plane yet for us and sent an update for 90 min delay at the original departure time. Could have chilled in the lounge longer, but as CPH is the hub there was a small chance they'd find another plane for the original time

Not surprising that we're looking at an up to 2-hour delay on the last leg, but the complete meltdown of SAS communications is surprising. I can see the plane just left BGO on @flightradar24.com but the CPH gate still insists we're boarding. Without plane or gate agents. No updates in app or email.
