When my niece was going thru brain cancer treatments and clinical trials, there were a couple trials my brother was trying to get her into, but they were cancelled. She passed away last October. Anyone who supports trump and this bullshit, we can't be friends.

Oh deer.... Did you see my note about the literal litmus test for head gaskets? Get pool litmus strips and dip the coolant you took out. Below 7ph is blown. Combustion gasses form carboxylic acid in coolant. You could also do a compression test or cylinder leak down test. 👍

Or with caliper on bench, put a piece of wood in between the pistons to catch them and use blowgun with rubber nipple to pop them out. Anything that touches grease is contaminated and needs to be replaced.

LOL I would have never used grease for that. I've used compressed air or brake pressure to free them. Drive the pins out, then the pads come straight up out the top of the caliper, works on Porsche, volvo, Mercedes with atk. Then if you step on the brake it pops the pistons out against the rotor

Eek! I get like this when I havent eaten and dehydrated, it makes depression and anxiety so much worse. Can't sleep, feel invisible, think everyone has forgotten me. I snapped out of it by taking my dogs out for fast food, and an old freind who I hadn't heard from in ages called me up.

Check the heads for warpage by scraping the gasket surface clean, then hold a flat ground bar against it. Shine a flashlight on the opposite side of it so you see a sliver of light in low spot. Insert thin feeler gauges between the bar and head to measure the warp. <.003, put new gaskets in, torque

Also, that rotting injector is caused by a galvanic reaction between metal in the injector housing and the intake manifold. It got wet somehow... I would get 6 new ones and inspect that intake for corrosion. That is, after it passes a coolant chemical test. If not, pull the heads and check them

If you haven't drained it, get litmus test strips from any store that sells pool supplies, $5 a jar, and dip the coolant, and read the strip against the chart on the jar. Typical coolant ph is around 8.5. less than 7.0, you have a blown head gasket. combustion gasses form carboxylic acid in coolant
