USPS is about as bleak as ever. People only care now but this has been a 6 yr problem and I haven’t forgotten all the journalists that burned me in 2020. NYT, WaPost, Philly Inquirer, NPR, WPR, Journal Sentinel. All gave up as soon as the election settled in Nov 2020. Not doing it again.

Don’t worry nothing will be done by the APWU or NALC. Same goes for the media, just like 2020 they’ll give up as soon as the election ends. While the damage grows inside the agency. But who cares? The damage was done in July 2020 and no one cared after Nov 2020. I’m so tired.

Do you even know that the postmark is now useless? Mailed your bills on time? But it’s delayed? You pay the fees. No longer a guarantee. Most customers don’t even know this. What did the NALC do? Well our retirees stopped any chance of us ever regaining control in the work place.

Since I turned 18 (remember I enlisted at 17) I’ve watched numerous republicans run on cutting veterans benefits while pushing a pro war & pro defense contractor agenda. The problem is the average citizen has been fed so much paid patriotism since 9/11. They just can’t see it.

As an Iraq war veteran I struggle with what my service actually means. My friends died, others suffer and defense contractors made billions. That being said, I sit my ass down every playing of the anthem. It’s paid propaganda and has been for decades. All while Rs vote to take my benefits away.
