Sometimes, I fear it is ego but I have not yet seen where AI would make MY work better in any way. Others? Maybe. I do know of at least one really smart person who uses it as an executive function coach and I can kinda see that for those with attention challenges.

So, art is unique, multidimensional, and subjective. It is easy to say "in 19 dimensional "art goodness space", artist X carves out a large volume. But, subjectively, you know those dimensions could be weighted differently, so much harder to compare artist x and y objectively.

This is true. We are responsible as well. The meta of it is that Canada has tried to enact climate policy in the last years (Carbon pricing) and that has failed in the face of right wing propaganda. Wish we were brave and unified enough to lead but we need global and US help on this file.

This. This is the kind of thing that always gets lost. Canadian immigration policy was over ambitious during the Trudeau years. But, it wasn't just some woke agenda, it was driven by business interests and lobbying groups. Policy is hard.
