Accidentally made that XKCD comic
A pile of washing up which looks similar to the XKCD comic about dependency

We dedicate our lives to making performant and accessible websites. And then Taylor Swift just has a massive image of text dumped on her homepage. It's important content, too (not just decoration) www.taylorswift.com

Something aesthetically pleasing about coffee in a jar
An Airscape clear glass jar with coffee in it. It sites on a black electric hob with aqua "fish scale" tiles behind it

When you spend most of your bike rides commuting along the seafront, _any_ kind of actual hill gets Strava Intelligence well excited
Screenshot of Strava with an Athlete Intelligence message saying

"Athlete Intelligence
Massive elevation gain of 2,011 ft - way above your typical 99 ft, making this a challenging ride."

Not quite sure how I managed 46 rides in April, but here we are!
Screenshot of a Garmin report showing 46 rides in April. It also shows stats for elevation gain, average speed and total time against March. All the figures have increased

I know having kids screws with your memory, but I would have thought i'd remember giving an @ffconf.org talk last year 😀

Went to a wonderfully intimate gig at a record store in Brighton this evening. Dan from Bastille is an incredible musician.
The lead singer from Bastille sitting on the till of a record store. He's sat in front of a keyboard and there are about 2 or 3 members of the public in front of him

One of my proudest and most practical "quick hack" things I've done is this charger for #bike lights. It is a powered USB hub inside an empty screw box in my garage. 3x micro USBs and one USB C. It sits next to the bikes so I don't have to think about cables or remembering them.

I've been trying to go to the next slide on this box of celebrations for the last 5 minutes. JavaScript must be broken 🤷‍♀️
A photo of the lid of a tub of celebrations. There are 4 circles, one of them filled in looking like the controls of a JavaScript folder

Being a coffee snob in a house where only I drink coffee has its downsides... Had some workmen over and offered them a cuppa. Two of them asked for coffee 🥲 #coffee
