I got mine in Jan 2024. Congrats. The retroactive keys are hilarious, aren't they? I won't say it has made me more forgiving of myself, and it won't stop me from mitigating as much as possible, but at least I won't figuratively bash my head in a wall to try to excuse or change what I can't.

To be fair(faire!) I left MD in 2006. Other than leather masks (liek Green Man), vambraces, belts, knife sheathes, pouches (I got one of my dice bags from there with a bone 'buckle') I don't remember anyone doing full on armor. I do remember booze, glass blowing, jousting, turkey legs, & an elephant

I explained it to my team like this. They were all trained on everything (GitHub) has to offer, from the large base beginners who can't code securely or use proper abstraction, to the smaller pool of elite coders. Probability puts what is generated to be mid at best, and statistically lower.

I have found places and opportunities where it does well (semantic analysis of surveys, community safety, data regression, etc). But the number of people who are in tech, but are not technical, who think it is smart, illustrates to me how dumb so many of my co-workers are.

It's basically just the Linux Foundation, ITIL Foundation, Network+, Security+ and a Capstone paper that will be a day in the life for me at work. Closest I had to do to that was the A+ certs (the two IT Foundations/Applications classes were that).
