Only watched the first episode of Seven Havens but I am honestly really excited! I am loving the new sound design and Jeremy Zuckerman is killing it like always. It's this perfect blend of ancient and familiar with new and alien.

Started playing Megami Tensei 2! It looks like a kind of meta-sequel so far, with the main characters playing an abridged version of the first game which kickstarts the real story. Interesting so far! And I'm playing with the famicom sound so its actually got some really nice atmosphere! #megaten

I didn't play the original Metroid until Prime Trilogy was coming out. I wanted to play the games in chronological order (for some reason) so that was my first Virtual Console game. And I loved it! Didn't make a map and used a guide if I really got lost, but I was an instant fan.

I have finished the original 4 (5?) Sonic the Hedgehog games for Genesis! And Knuckles! I think I actually prefer CD and Knuckles more open approach to level design over the focus on memorization of the numbered games. S3+K was a huge step up in presentation though

Took me a little while to beat the final boss but I finally finished Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light! I really liked the crown system, but there were 1 or 2 baffling design decisions that I felt held the whole game back. Not being able to choose targets in battle really dragged the game down.

Starting #Drakengard 2! I know a lot of people say to skip this because Yoko Taro didn't direct it and Nier is like the "true" follow up, but I've kinda been obsessed with the first and I'm so curious. Plus, people said to skip the first game and just watch the cutscenes and I'm so glad I didn't.

After like a decade I Finally played The Last Guardian, one of the reasons I got a ps3 AND a ps4 in the first place. The animation and AI on Trico is insane and the team shows they can still convey so much with so little. Feels like a worthy follow up to ICO.

Seeing people cheer on a potential Ocarina of Time remake is so indicative of the current culture. “Ocarina of Time 3D was over 15 years ago, we’re due for a remake.” Just make it more available, we have 3DS ports on Switch already! The resources spent on a remake could be for something original.

Apparently, scans dont carry over if you die in Metroid Prime 4, so I missed the one boss that was missable, even though I did actually scan it. That sucks, that means it's the only Metroid Prime game I didn't 100% and missed the secret ending...
