A political poster that reads, "The Boss needs you, you don't need them! Labor is entitled to all it creates" with animation-style images of Chief O'Brien, Rom, and Leela from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine talking about unions in Quark's bar.

For Father’s Day, my wife and daughter took me on a book crawl to various Houston independent book stores. I found a few books! 📍 Houston Book Warehouse 📍 Kindred Stories 📍 Basket Books and Art

And this is very off-topic, but now that I've found you on BlueSky I wanted to say how very much I appreciated your objectively factual review of Daggerheart

Oh no!
Lego figures being used to represent Dungeons and Dragons characters. A LEGO spider holds one of them in its legs. The are two sets of dice and a dice box in the picture as well.

The Helpers of Honeyhollow started the night on a peaceful shopping expedition. I’m sure it’ll be a nice, quiet #DnD session with my 5 year old.

Another thing about running a #DnD campaign for a five year old is that she’s not content with just one character. Our pool of PCs/DMPCs includes no less than… 1 Elf Bard 1 Elf Cleric 1 Dragonborn Rogue 1 Tiefling Sorcerer 1 Goliath Fighter Needless to say, combat rounds are chaos

Okay, now I’m finally (*maybe*) finished with my first #ttrpg map in @inkarnate.com What’s really interesting to me was as I added details to the map, it prompted narrative ideas for the campaign

I made my first complete #ttrpg map using @inkarnate.com for my daughter’s #DnD campaign! Our party’s home base is the city of Honeyhollow, named for the regionally famous Honeyhollow Apiary and Meadery.

Instead of an “adventuring party”, my 5 year old and I formed a “helper’s club” in our #DnD game. We go around the town helping people for gold. Gold, I’ve learned, is the biggest motivation for a young player.
