I think it's super important for us to start getting the language right around the actions of technology. We're seeing the same thing happening with headlines claiming that "AI could create a bioweapon to destroy humanity." No. "Bad actors could misuse AI to create a bioweapon to destroy humanity."

Admittedly, I was just criticizing the wording of the headline that gives agency to the robot instead of the humans controlling it. If the facts in the case are just the robot bumped into the girl and happened to come in contact with her butt, then "groping" isn't accurate at all.

I'd suggest to media companies that a more accurate headline would be "Two Men Use Robot to Grope 16 Year-old Girl." The robot didn't do any groping. The two men used the robot as a tool to do the groping.
