I automatically think less of you as a person if you unironically use the term “swagmin.”

Your encyclopedic knowledge of niche Kingdom Hearts history is much admired.

Isn’t it crazy how your life can change more in a 2-month span than it had in the previous 4 years? And all positively too! Anyways, those are my “accidentally clicked on Bluesky for the first time in a couple months” thoughts. See ya in a few!

I hardly have time for games anymore, and yet this was still an instant preorder for me.

Mike Kennedy @mikekennedynfl.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

You have competition. I’ve seen a lot of guys in the comments of those posts saying “I never knew the VA of Mog was so hot.”

If it wasn’t obvious by now, I really love the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga and especially its wonderful cast. So much so that I’d fly to Phoenix to attend Game On Expo to see them.

Thank you for always giving me an ego boost

As someone who’s been in the online KH fandom since when I was but a wee lad in 2003, even if mostly a lurker, I always appreciate the BTS historical look-backs like this to take me back to those days. Very fun listen, as usual, @cabletown.bsky.social @regularpat.bsky.social

Fine, don’t play FF7. As long as you finally get around to the original, you’re good.

Mike Kennedy @mikekennedynfl.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

You will fix this if you actually love me

If we weren’t friends, this would be a block-worthy opinion 💀

000

And I was told Bluesky was a nicer place!

I really should get back to using this platform more. Especially in lieu of recent events on that other site (iykyk)

Making my return to Bluesky just to say that Christopher Sean is perhaps the coolest guy on the planet 🥹

Logging on to Bluesky for the first time in weeks and immediately seeing this… 💔

Me after all 27 times I get ghosted:

If you showed me this tweet and asked me to guess who out of everyone in football media posted it, I could have easily guessed it correctly within 5 tries.

Wow — Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear by Alexander Freed is one of the best books I have ever read. If you love the politics of Star Wars and the gritty but nuanced feel of Andor, this is the one for you. Eerie timing with our world as well. Can’t wait for the next!

Getting to meet and have meaningful interactions with the wonderful cast of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at Holiday Matsuri this weekend was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Max Mittelman, John Eric Bentley, Suzie Yeung, Britt Baron, Briana White — thank you all for being so gracious 🥹

I should really probably use this app more considering this is where all my nerd friends flocked to.

Seeing people other than me finally calling out how weird the parasocial relationship Star Wars fans have with “Swagmin” makes me instantly like Bluesky 100000x more.

Penei Sewell this season: - 0 sacks allowed at OT - 1 sack taken at QB One of the best stat-lines you will ever see.

What am I most thankful for this season? Every single fan who recorded Sabrina Carpenter’s performance of Juno on her tour.

In case you didn’t know, I love Final Fantasy Rebirth a lot. Best video game of all-time. Best soundtrack of all-time. Do not pass up seeing the Orchestra World Tour if you have the chance.

I grew up in Ohio, being the stereotypical white boy playing snow football in shorts and a t-shirt, so I’m allowed to speak on it! 😭

First Bluesky argument centered around the legacy of Philip Rivers. We are so back.

040

Mike Kennedy @mikekennedynfl.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Not at all. The discussion was about the early years, and that was the quickest argument in his favor for being more than what you claimed. Not sure why you’re extrapolating more. If you want the full argument, watch this video. I don’t have time to go back and forth: youtu.be/TFHH60PZ0mw?...

Philip Rivers is a Hall of Famer

210

Mike Kennedy @mikekennedynfl.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

By his third year starting, Rivers led the league in YPA and TD passes, while that HOF RB was already washed up, averaging under 4 yards a pop. Rivers then led the NFL in YPA in the next two years as well The Chargers’ lack of success was due in large part to their subpar at best supporting casts.

110

Mike Kennedy @mikekennedynfl.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

This is simply untrue of Rivers on itself, but it’s funny to say this when comparing him to Herbert because Rivers had a lot more meaningful moments by this point of his career than Herbert has. Also, Rivers and that 2018 Chargers team that are being discussed specifically were phenomenal.

Joey Porter Jr had maybe the best game of his career on Sunday vs the Ravens: 🔒 86.4 PFF grade 🔒 3 targets 🔒 0 receptions allowed 🔒 2 forced incompletions 🔒 0 penalties And his biggest play was saving the game by blowing up the 2-point conversion attempt. Star.
