I did some maths on energy costs for my Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo vs my previous Audi SQ8. I used some round numbers on the SQ8 as it was wildly variable, especially during the winter, just like the Taycan. Overall I spent about $0.03/mile on the Taycan vs ‎an est. $0.18/mile with the SQ8.

A brief thread about Walter Wolf, one of the most interesting people I have ever interviewed. Owner of the first Canadian F1 team in the 1970s and won at Monaco, the first person to put a wing on a Lamborghini Countach, and once commissioned the fastest road car in Europe in the 1980s.
