First in class, and we corrected out to second fastest overall on the long course. Tonic, a Peterson 34 rated 141 corrected out 7 minutes ahead of us. (our elapsed time was about 40 minutes quicker than him, but we were in a fast boat.) We didn't pass him until the second mark.

STOP THE COUNT. The official race results say we took 7th on the first race, not 6th, so we were deprived of one spot. It didn't make any difference though. A 1st and a 6th placed the same as a 1st and a 7th, which was 3rd in our class of 7, 13th in a fleet of 47.

Good day of racing. One of our club officers drove race 1, we took 6th out of 7. I drove race 2, we took first. Race three call at the windward mark. No final results, but I think our first race ruined our chances for an overall. I'll still be hitting refresh until they post the results.
