Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 13/10/2025So, as I hinted at earlier, I was gifted a box of Silver Age comics from my Uncle last week. They were headed to the dumpster until he remembered I'm into comics again, and he hadn't been since the 60's. Here are some nice Spideys 1191
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 12/10/2025Got gifted a box of Silver Age comics from Uncle last week. Afterward, my ASM v1 consecutive issues run increased a bit. *DISCLAIMER* #1 & 129 are, sadly, facsimiles. More highlights from The Box forthcoming....some real good stuff 230

Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 24/09/2025Propping up the ebay store.... nice. And, as usual, very glad to see they arrived safely, and especially glad you like the bonus stuff! You earned those! 110
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 13/09/2025I've mentioned this before, but it was a friend of my dad's. He was running a comic book shop out of his garage, and my dad introduced me to him in '84 when I was 10. Got my comics through him for several years. Would work in the shop occasionally for comics. 000
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 13/09/2025Hahahaha! I don't have any of this series. I got confused with Marvel Team Up! 000
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 12/09/2025About 1/3 left to completing this run, including this one. 120
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 12/09/2025I was getting this monthly at the time. No spinner, but I knew a dude.... 130

Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 23/08/2025Maybe. He's not EIC, though, but still. ASM definitely is probably the main culprit. Been cataloging new buys tonight and this stretch of covers, while all pretty, are also extremely bland and hint at nothing inside the pages. Also, none of the covers by JRJR. 230
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 23/08/2025I was fortunate enough to completely miss these years of Spidey. But, I have been building up my collection over many lost years recently, on the cheap, including this story. Not looking forward to the trauma, but I also have a heads up, at least. 010
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 23/08/2025Ok, I was out of comics from '96-'22, but when did cover art become so boring? Here we have 2 very similar covers, 19 years apart. Neither hint at anything with the story, and also, both by the same artist... the great JRJR. Terrific art, don't get wrong, but what happened with teasing the story? 170

Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 23/08/2025Hey! I finally remembered and watched some of the show! I like it. Well done! Also happy to see I actually had some issues in the top 10, and not just in the bottom 5. 130
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 20/08/2025I don't remember anything about this run as I haven't read since it was published. If I ever get my Spidey read-through back into gear, I'll get there......maybe in a couple of years??? 000

Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 11/08/2025New comic snag! A little beat up, and has the back cover stamp cut out, but for $2, I have zero complaints. 0150
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 30/07/2025Yeah, very surprising about ASM. That was right around the time I started collecting ASM. 110
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 19/07/2025Not that I'm aware of. McFarlane's kick ass cover art is basically it. 010
Mike Golla @mikegolla.bsky.social · 19/07/2025It's funny and annoying. I was collecting Batman at this time, but very sporadically, so I missed this issue at the time. Honestly, I knew nothing about it until I got back into comics in 2022. Anyway, I have it now, and am pleased. May crack that slab at some point, though..... 1130
