The Sierra Nevada Pils is really good for a milk pour. Dump the whole thing into a tall glass so it gets a good head on it. Then chug it down in 1 or 2 sips. It's very refreshing.

Cool it, Sanchez! You'll get Knuckle Supper! It's the only show that made me laugh so hard that my chair ate me. I was in a recliner. I laughed so much that the chair folded up with me in it. It was Dean Lerner firing the shotgun into the ceiling and yells "Knock it off! This is a hospital!"

It was things like waiting in line at CVS in Hampton and looking down to see 2 other people in line wearing checkerboard socks. There is a Busch Gardens meet up the day before the festival. Or you could leave a stack of vinyl records on a chair for most of the day and nobody bothered.

My first time going to Supernova. I drove from Philly to Fort Monroe. Got there around 3 PM. Stayed until the end. Checked into the hotel. Spent 30 minutes looking for parking at the Vanguard. Stayed until 2 AM. My wife was asleep on her feet. One of my all time best bad ideas.

I have been there a few times the past few years. I am not totally shocked. It was never that crowded. That's what my kids liked about it. It is a quiet Franklin Institute. But the place could really use a lot of love. And it needs more interactive exhibits. The temporary exhibits were great.

2005 was Chase Utley's breakout year. It created a log jam in the infield with Utley, David Bell and Placido Polanco. They traded Polanco for Ugueth Urbina. Bell's career was over the following year. Urbina was arrested for attempted murder in the offseason. Polanco became a star for the Tigers.

Weezer was playing a 1000-capacity club in 2000. It was before the Green Album. They were mostly playing Blue Album and Pinkerton songs. But I had a Restoration Literature class that night. I found out later the show was really undersold and the promoters were handing out free tickets.

I was outside the venue at the Philly stop for the Foo Fighters - Mike Watt tour. I realized I just couldn't afford the ticket. I was hoping to find a free ticket. They were $12.50.
