💥

Screenshot of result of 0.0041 - Genuinely remarkable. You sailed past the theoretical human limit like it owed you money. I'd accuse you of cheating but I don't actually know how you'd cheat at this.

@propublica.org FWIW, Facebook is preventing me from linking to one of your articles (other links work fine). Not sure if its a glitch, but very conspiracy-y

When developing websites for RTL languages like #hebrew and #arabic, should I flip right-facing (forward facing) arrows, and play buttons? #webdev

True story. Me and @mglaman.bsky.social submitted a session to DrupalCon Vienna on just that! #Drupal

How to Land an EPIC Contribution in Drupal (Without Losing Your Mind)

Behind every great Drupal feature is a stubborn person (not necessarily a developer) who refused to let it stay broken. Want to be that person? We’ll show you how.

In this wildly entertaining session from two seasoned Drupal core maintainers and bug fixers, you’ll be walked through the murky steps of getting your feature or bugfix into Drupal core, Drupal CMS, or prominent contrib project.

We'll cover:

Identifying issues or features that can be fixed
Pitching the idea to relevant stakeholders
Assembling your team
Doing the actual work (including what makes a MR review-worthy)
Handling the complexities of communication (spoiler: this is often the hardest part)
Getting it across the finish line (aka committed!)

We’ll also break down real-world case studies of contributions to Drupal core—from first idea to final commit—including the wins, the failures, and the desperate Slack messages in between.

At the end of this session, you’ll walk away with the motivation, ability, and confidence to land your very own EPIC contribution.
