That’s super respectable too! Half of my hours on Overwatch were like, job reasons, so I feel like it only half counts, haha I’m realizing now that I use my focus on these games to push my own creative pursuits, fuelling inspiration for medium explorations as I go. Art begets art I suppose!

I almost wish I had that sort of on / off with games. I tend to latch onto a game for several years and shift only when something drastic happens within the game’s updates or community. For me it was Minecraft; 2009-16 4k hrs? Overwatch; 2016-22 ~5k? ish hours Warframe; 2023- 3.5k ongoing

Last night, my childhood cat, Sasha, passed away peacefully in her sleep back on my families farm. She was 22. She was a stubborn ol bastard, and we always joked she would outlive us all. I’m sure she’s cursing us with her whole heart wherever she is. Here’s to Sasha. Goodbye, sweetheart.

I’ve always told myself that diamonds are formed under pressure, since my ADHD makes me believe I’ll always have the time before a deadline- Unfortunately for this Warframe cosplay, Ordis says “Pressure creates diamonds, yes, but it also creates rubble.” So months of prep have led to this crunch

Genuinely so happy with how my TPU neck print came out! Getting my printer to stop jamming was terrifying for this 18 hour print! One of the first parts I resculpted for my Nidus cosplay this year! #Warframe #TennoCreate #WIP

The printed item is a matte black colour, printed with a rubber, foaming filament. It has some fuzzy pieces sticking off of it from the printing process, but this is significantly less than what was expected.

I’ve been doing a similar thing to get myself drinking more water in general! I have a knock off sodastream, and I use those lil flavoured water packets to trick myself into more water consumption! Even if it is just carbonated water with a tiny bit of flavouring it works great :D

Some (mostly) technical guidelines for your artwork:

-Any 2d medium is welcome!
-For digital art please save it as a .png with transparent background
-Try to keep your canvas to a maximum size of 700x1000px, at 300dpi
-For traditional art please send a scan if possible and keep the background of your drawing either white or light purple
-For captura ideally use the Color Key scene with the top left Lotus Palette purple as background, or alternatively the Chamber of the Lotus scene. If you can send your captura as a transparent background .png even better, but if not I'll cut the background out for you.
-Absolutely NO AI. Don't be disrespectful.
-Please don't add any text to your drawing! It makes putting together the collage more difficult

I used to stream regularily, but I had a scare when my PSU died on me mid stream, and now I’m just kinda psyched out by it. I liked the interactivity, but it can be a bit harrowing when you’ve got an empty chat. Could be a great idea (art-wise) to stream with others in a vc to help build confidence.

It’s truly a life changing experience! I sought out a diagnosis in my early 20’s, but that prompted my mother, who’s in her 50’s to do so as well recently, and she’s absolutely gobsmacked by the difference! It’s crazy to think that’s how most people function!

Yeah, it’s taken me months to climb myself to the edge of the burnout pit I was in. But you are not alone!! Gentle reminders to let yourself actually enjoy things you like, while giving yourself small victories with day to day chores. Little progress daily will eventually build yourself back up.
