Just spent the last 30 days revising this (and moving into a new house and dealing with dog health problems)! Officially sent it back out today!! 🤞 After spending most of my non-working, waking moments editing, it feels weird to just be.

Title card of Agent Guide. Mikala Noe's The Moons of Aurelia. Features a navy/purple sky with 3 moons.
102k Words
Genre Blend: Adult Fantasy, Legal Drama, and Romance
Second World, Low Fantasy, High Stakes

Comps overlay the same title card.
The strong female protagonist, enemies to lovers, and political intrigue of From Blood and Ash.
The character-driven, emotional depth, and legal drama of For The People.
The isolated setting, cost of survival, and uncovering hidden truths in A Multitude of Dreams.

The pitch on the same overlay.
Twenty-six-year-old Daphne Janes represents the accused population in the isolated and walled city of Portmere. With only three years left on her indenture, she's desperate to finish her contract and start over, far away from the arrogant, infuriatingly handsome prosecutor who thrives on making her job impossible.

Warren Harrington has spent his life chasing the approval of a father who only sees him as a poor replacement for his dead older brother. As a star Crown Prosecutor and the son of a Councilman, Warren has never had the luxury of questioning the system he upholds —until he’s forced by his father to join the ruling body that oversees it. But when magic, long thought to be myth, suddenly surfaces in Portmere, Daphne and Warren find themselves on similar sides of a dangerous mystery.

While the government tightens its grip and becomes increasingly hostile toward its citizens, the city teeters toward a revolution. As Daphne and Warren uncover secrets that threaten everything they’ve believed in, they discover there’s more to the city than meets the eye – and magic might be a lot closer than they think. They must choose between protecting the system that made them enemies or risking it all to bring it down…before it is too late.

The following quote overlaid on a picture of mountains. "So Nesta had become the wolf. Armed herself with invisible teeth and claws, and learned to strike faster, deeper, more lethally. Had relished it. But when the time came to put away the wolf, she'd found it had devoured her too."
