Got this little rosary from the booth of a Star Trek club from Mannheim. I was very saddend that one of the ladies had passed away shortly before the event... At a vendor I found these older manga. (Random PSME volume and Helter Skelter!?)

My loot from the Sci-Fi days last weekend! @sfcd.eu was there with their big collection of books they save and sell at cons. It's a dream come true for people who like vintage books and super cheap. Also got these lovely patches from Sci-Fi Narische (didn't attent the con but they look so nice)

Hard choices: Rose of Versailles, Saber Rider, Cat's Eye had to go. I chose Robin Hood because it was the first that made me hooked on the RTL2 anime. Honorable mentions to Neon Genesis Evangelion and Record of Lodoss War, very early VHS purchases I loved. Stuff I watched more recently is missing.

It was a good decision to not wear a costume today. Since we were more than enough people at the booth I could walk around and shop a bit. My nephews were also there and I could spent some time with them.

Felt horrible yesterday, so no cosplay for me today. My whole body hurts, I'm exhausted. I felt so sad, that I should have fun instead I counted the hours. My body is just 'nope'. I'm so disappointed...two days of a con with comfy costumes and basically sitting most of the time shouldn't be so hard.

Nearly done with my connichi loot. Got a mystery art pack from studio alsar and it was loaded!! So much stuff for only 5€ what a steal! My favourites are the laminated bookmarks and the cloud sticker :D

I always love bunny stuff and got me this polaroidset from der salzbaron

I checked out the dealers hall and spent the rest of the sunday mainly at the matsuri area and community stage for Kontrollverlust and the Cosplay trash cup which was super fun. Really loved the energy of it all and the costumes were so creative :3

So, Connichi: It was a good idea to first browse through the artist alley after opening when it wasn't so crowded. Did some shopping there and still thinking about stuff I wish I bought. Saw the extreme cosplay gathering prelim which was amazing and made me all emotional.

Yesterday at MPS/ renfaire. Had it's up and downs. Prices have gone up so much and still it's so very crowded. Sadly I have no photo of my outfit. Shirts are so fun, I should wear them more often

Since my partner is reading so much lately we resorted our bookshelves. Physical books are just so nice ✨ I used to read so much anf so fast when I was younger. Now I struggle so much with it. Buuut I managed to read a book I got from the library and felt so proud.

Yesterday was my nephews first schoolday so my family had a small gettogether with delicious cake. And Miko and I finally met up for more food (after exactly one year XD;;). Went to a Thai restaurant and chatted for a bit and I got super delicious tomatoes and Zucchini from their garden :3

Proof that I actually did something productive this weekend. Doesn't look that nice since it isn't ironed and needs some topstitching, but it's wearable. I also kept my newspaper pattern so that I don't have to start at zero when making another one.

I hope that after this week summer will calm down. It's been okay in our apartment, I know other people have it way worse. But it's so annoying to plan everything around the heat and while I like being at home it's not good for my mental health to not leave the house all week.
