Feel for him being so injury prone. Such fun to watch play when he’s healthy

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

That’s what I thought and why I was so confused. I rewound and the announcer did in fact say he’d miss two games. Weird.

I think I heard the Apple TV announcers say Reid getting a yellow means he’ll be suspended the next two games. That cant be true. Is it?

Follow up question for Lindsay and those who say: "parents know what's best for our kids." Does that include parents of trans kids?

Niko Tsakiris is the biggest snub from this camp. He deserves to be there.

Na. Pass of the week is Tsakiris trivela.

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Niko cannot get back to 90 minutes fit soon enough. Not to mention it’s hard to sustain doing well with a 1 DP 2 U22 model. They’ve been miserable to watch since the World Cup break.

Not too late to trade for St. Clair

Robert’s because he’s left footed.

Bruce has stockpiled quite a bit of GAM. Not sure what for tho because he doesn’t seem to be using it.

I was surprised to see the rumor of Daniel going to Dallas - liked by Daniel himself so I knew it was legit - after the start to the season he's had. Glad to see Bruce got someone legit to take over between the pipes.

Any updates on plans for the summer transfer window?

000

Absolutely zero reason to rush there. Kill the clock.

McKennie to Chicago Fire after the World Cup???

How much of a difference does Dest presence in the XI make for the attack? Who levels up the most in this tournament?

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

Only got the rest of his life to go discussing it. At least as long as he’s a professional. That’s what happens when you’re part of a scandal(?) at a World Cup. Not sure if scandal is the right word but you know what I mean.

Great to have so many candidates, it just needs to be ranked choice voting.

No Sacramento! Make an MLS team your priority!

From a humanistic perspective, MLS is a better league without Ernst Tanner in it.

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Tied for the league lead in goals from open play. Only one in the top 5 without a pen that’s padding his stats (tho I wish he took the pen against Dallas).

Who's funding our Supervisor candidates in south Sonoma County? The answer may surprise you! 👀 A conservative Super PAC just dumped $85,000 into Sylvia Lemus's campaign. That should be enough for voters to know where her allegiance lies. Vote Joanna Paun on June 2nd - or NOW via mail-in ballot! 🗳️

Back to misery for Quakes fans without Werner and Tsakiris.

000

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Haha, exactly. He was noticeable in the Open Cup game. I’m sure that was a large part of what got him this move. Being able to bring a forward off the bench will be a new thing for Bruce this season.

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

What’s up with pushing Kaick - the guy who set him up - away from the celebration.

010

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Tough time as a Quakes fan having to watch this moment on repeat. I should just stay off social media and avoid the wrap up columns - I already know Dallas and/or Sarver will be listed as a winner on Backheeled - but I’m too much of a sicko.

NEWS: #Quakes74 midfielder Niko Tsakiris underwent successful surgery on his right groin today and is expected to miss three to four months. Niko has been playing at an MLS All-Star level and is a big reason San Jose sits atop the Supporters' Shield standings.

A u22 American number 10 playing at an MVP level?? Absolute success story of the league. He had injuries derail him last year too. Hope this surgery helps with that. I’ll be counting down the weeks until he returns.

What u22 players do you foresee being transferred this summer, and how much will that impact their club chances for hardware? Thinking about Tsakiris and Gozo, who are big factors in their team’s success so far this season. Hoping Tsakiris stays with the Quakes through the sprint season.

I’m worried Judd might be hurt. He was limping. Hoping he was just gassed. Quakes can’t take anymore injuries. Won’t be surprised if he doesn’t start next game.

mijabl.bsky.social @mijabl.bsky.social · 08/05/2026

Possibly. They’ve looked more vulnerable defensively recently. But I’m going to chalk it up to schedule congestion. They certainly won’t be as goal dangerous, but they’ll still play tough defense. So hopefully they can pull out a 1-0 win.
