Really interesting review on using ancient DNA to identify traits that were under selection throughout human history. I wonder if we could determine which genetic factors related to mental health came under selection as well... www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Despite D.Phil. training in AI and neuroscience, I’m excited to share my first manuscript in human genetics (now published in AJHG)! Our results show that relative genetic risk varies substantially across sociodemographic contexts (see comments). www.cell.com/ajhg/fulltex...

Putting polygenic scores in context: How intersectional factors affect relative and absolute genetic risk
Intersecting sociodemographic contexts meaningfully reshape genetic risk. Across 106 two-way intersections, polygenic scores showed substantial shifts in relative risk for seven diseases, whereas abso...

I came across this Nature paper co-authored by a former Oxford colleague. I think it’s interesting for two reasons (see comments). www.nature.com/articles/s41...
