@byondr feels like they don’t trust him, and I really wonder about all those complicated summer negotiations

@nelson Some of our lights sometimes flash. It’s super annoying, I’ve been wanting to swap this whole set of old halogen mounts out for ages and I’ve finally done five of them with six remaining.

@nelson Gem was looking at a version of these that were ~$70, seemed like too much for a switch but this is closer to what I’d expect

@nelson What dimmer did you get? I just changed some lights in our house to LED (with a 30W driver) and I’m pretty sure we’ll need to replace our dimmers. The current ones were put in for old halogens.

Nice to see the fans getting into this game, Saturday’s Pelicans crowd was sleepy #dubnation 🏀

@byondr we worried the jerseys would be cursed if the Dubs didn’t win this one

The Mastodon.social web client is crazy-slow, right? I use it in Firefox on MacOS on two different laptops and basic interactions (keypresses, clicks, etc.) show long delays even after hard-refreshes. Is it just me?

@enobacon having gotten more familiar with batteries in recent years it still feels like black magic to predict how much oomph they have left

@skinnylatte there’s some nice camping to be had on its north side, feels a bit odd to be roasting marshmallows over a fire and drinking hot toddies out of a camping cup while clearly hearing BART track whine in the distance

GDAL internals frustration: is there a spatial reference equivalent to EPSG:4326 in every way, except that it does not require remembering to SetAxisMappingStrategy(osgeo.osr.OAMS_TRADITIONAL_GIS_ORDER) ?
