A simple colored digital drawing for practice. The character is an OC who I was also experimenting with to find a color palette for her. In the future I hope to be able to share many more color drawings without leaving aside my sketch posts because I really like them. The rendering is simple and is mainly inspired by the coloring style that I usually see in color comics and mangas, with a touch of the illustrations that I usually see from other artists on social media.

A quick rough sketch of one of my original characters that I did to post today. She is posing wearing a beautiful dress and doing a pose that was fun to draw. Trying to practice to make sketches a little faster with this digital sketch made from a reference photo. My drawings take me too much time to finish and i really need to start improving on that aspect. Maybe it's something about my artstyle, something about the character desings or something else, i still need to find out and keep sketching on this digital sketchbook that is my account. I love drawing clothes, it's one of my favorite parts to draw along with the face and hair. I really like this oc and I will continue drawing her, I will try to make some color illustration of her. Quick sketch of one of my ocs. One of my favorite parts to draw are the face and hair, and sometimes the hands but those are very complicated sometimes haha. I didn't quite fully convey the hairstyle as i imagined it, but that usually never happens with any drawing or art piece lol. Just gotta keep drawing until it comes out, and i guess i still need to draw it from other angles aswell. I really like this oc and I will continue drawing her, I will try to make some color illustration of her in color very soon, or as soon as I can. To be honest I wasn't feeling like drawing today, but in the end i had fun with this sketch. Sometimes you just gotta start drawing instead of thinking if you want to do it or not. It was a nice drawing practice in the end for this original character desing of mine that i hope to improve in the future with doing more art of her. Today I just modified an old sketch a little because I didn't really have the time or desire for a more elaborate sketch, although my sketches were never too elaborate haha. Today and tomorrow I will have too much work to do but I will try my best to continue with my drawings and not lose my daily posting. It's fun to use photo references for drawings but in this case I had to rush quite a bit to be able to post today's drawing and not lose my daily art streak. This is technically a digital sketchbook and I shouldn't worry so much if the drawings aren't perfect, but at the same time I want my sketches to look good, you know. I want to be a good character designer, since that is what I like to draw and design the most and especially considering that I want to, but I think I need to be able to be more creative with the designs. It's okay to make simpler or more minimalist character designs, in fact I like that, but it's also interesting to be able to make more striking and expressive designs, so I'll work on that. I usually do my digital drawings on my phone using a screenless wacom intuos drawing tablet, but for this sketch I was stuck at work due to the rain and I had to try drawing with my fingers, helping me with the tools that IbisPaint has of course . I've always admired artists who draw with their fingers on their phones, but I never got around to trying it even when I didn't have a digital drawing tablet. I like to draw faces but I don't think I draw them consistently well, like there is always some variation in the proportions or angle, or sometimes even in my drawing style.
