Was walking through Bournville yesterday and heard somebody say "I wish this rain would go away, it's totally unnecessary".. honestly you'd think people forget we've been in a drought 😂😂

3 months of constant summer heat and the minute we have 2 days of rain I catch a cold 😂 feckin typical 😂

The longer these don't sell on Facebook Marketplace, the harder it gets to not just keep them for the sake of blasting out my own tunes 😂 Sleep Tokens Look to the windward, drop hits soo hard when it feels like it's physically hitting you in the face 😅 good job the neighbours away this weekend 😂

This heatwave lark needs to piss off now I'm getting bored of not being able to sleep 😅 bring back the sideways rain! Proper British weather 👌😂

GDQ & the World Cup both being on at the same time.. this is what dual monitor setups were made for 😂😂

Spare a thought for any obese factory workers in England today... We didn't sign up for this heat and we aren't ok 😂😂😂

020

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

That is BEYOND sick 👌👌👌

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Well that would certainly explain why the printer stopped working again... All mi white ink turned solid 😅

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Even with all the carnage at work, still made time for a bit of painting and something unusually colourful for me aswell which was a nice change of pace 😂 Ronin Arts Workshop really does have some beautiful STLS for sale, certainly worth a look.

A day of tryna repair these sodding printers. Absolute pain 😅 hopefully they work tomorrow when we power them back up 😂 Honestly whoever designed them this way must have taken deep and perverse pleasure knowing all the agony trying to service any components would cause 👀 it's borderline cruel 😂😂

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Not the cleanest rescue job but given the state I was given these boys in, it's still a huge upgrade. Looks like I'm gunna be learning Bolt Action afterall 😂

Lol!!! Imagine a situation where I'm offered the manager's job. Only to realise immediately afterwards that my ambitions don't match the employer after a 15 minute text chain 😂 That's hilarious and I'm counting that as a success.. I only felt i'd be a failure if I wasn't offered! 😂😂😂

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

Love a good Shikari Merch drop with a new album 👀💙

010

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

Love going to bed tired and then your brain suddenly goes into overdrive thinking of hypothetical situations and ideas, 30 mins later your wide awake again 😅 who needs sleep eh?

010

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

...Looking to downsize my console collections, don't play them often enough to warrant keeping them, I can cash in and someone else will be able to enjoy.. that said; it's also meant I've had to try repair & replace all the components I knew were going bad 😅 it's been a fun weekend for sure 😂

Nailed the Interview, and now I find myself in a battle with my deeply ingrained anxiety issues and the reawakening confidence that I lost so long ago. I know I'm a brilliant barman and I'll prove it next week. If im not offered the managers job then il consider it a personal failure 😂 I got this 🤟💪

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

A fully stealth dropped Enter Shikari album??.. in this economy?? 👀 well that's a hell of a way to start the day 💙😂 brb buying vinyl for the collection 🤟

Redoing a CV sucks doesn't it? What's the nicest way of saying.. 'Im not a complete and total tosser plz hire me 👀😂'

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

Fancied a little trip down memory lane. Good ol' COD4.

021

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

And this ties into the motivation for a lot of these new people streaming switching over time from "I wanna stream because it's fun and maybe I'll make some friends after a while" to "I wanna be the next big streamer because $$$" obviously it's never that easy/simple 😂

010

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

Well it doesn't help that awhile back it was found out that twitch didn't count non active chatters in it's metrics. So a lot of these folks purely motivated by that viewer count will be acutely aware that lurkers aren't benefitting them as much 🤷 I'm not sure if this was ever actually fixed either.

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

Oh I'm gunna make sure he does 😂 Im'a tell him the secret to getting likes online is to play in traffic. 👀

010

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

You're onto something there. Younger gens are so much more reliant on validation from online content. That nephew of mine has a bloody tiktok account and all of his "content" is based on baiting out engagement. It's painfully cringe 😅 ima find a way of saving it all and show him when he's older 👀😂

120

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

Absolutely horrific behaviour. Breaks one of the oldest unwritten rules of twitch aswell 👀 if you'd pulled that kinda thing 12 years ago you'd have been practically laughed off the platform 😂

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Can certainly tell that springs here.. I've not stopped bloody sneezing since Sunday 👀😂 bring back the winter 😜

010

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 07/03/2026

A couple more degrees and itl be vest top and shorts 😂😂

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

Word to the wise.. don't get kerosene in an open cut.. it stings like a bastard 😂😂

020

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

Ah ok so it seems like your priming is crucial to getting a good depth of colours with these then? Almost a bit like using contrast/speedpaints. I airbrush primer and zenithal highlight my figs so theoretically that should suit me 🤔👍

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

Any of my painter friends ever dabble with acrylic marker pens for their minis? Am tempted to grab a set and give them a go, seems a really accurate way to do edge lighting and highlights 🤷.

Accidentally came across someone selling a matchday programme from my first ever football match as a kid 👀 had to buy it immediately. It's getting framed and put next to the replica shirt on the wall 👌 Check that league out 😂 some proper teams down there. How times have changed 🤷 only 29 Years ago 😅

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

Eyyy Rayman 30yr Remake looks like good fun, might have to pick that up 👀

000

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

That would be logical.. this is the internet.. it doesn't follow logic here 😂😂

010

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

People love the process? 🤷

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Break them in half or 3rds and see if it's any easier, itl certainly taste worse though 😅

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

Haha! It's such a unique look afterall, maybe try your nuln as you mentioned and then if your not happy with a single coat you can always mix your own wash for a second goat if you wanna bring more colour in afterwards 🤔

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

Nuln will deffo mute the brightness but won't do a lot to show any kinda grottyness or wear. 'n' tear. Totally depends what your aiming for though. If I ever get round to doing a breachers team I'd want them looking really grim, a bit like a big daddy from bioshock if you've ever played it.

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

Maybe try an agrax wash over the void suit to dull the tone plus make it look weathered and dirty? 🤷

110

Fatman @mightybaldo.bsky.social · 04/02/2026

.. when you get a fully paid free day off work 😂👍 what a result.

Finished my Yarrick Model for our little friendly contest👌. Certainly pleased with that one 😁 hopefully it blows away the folks in the discord. Wonder what the next mini will be we do 🤔 Haven't done any fantasy stuff for a while 🤷 #40K
