Had the first version dual battery XPedition when I lived in DC. It was a heavy beast, solidly built with great range. Sold it when we moved to France, but will definitely look at another e-bike one we close on our house.

30 years ago I was a solutions architect selling token ring to the SSA in Woodlawn, MD (Baltimore suburb). 10 story building, all raised floors to support mainframes, which by then had been moved to the basement.Scary part was they hadn’t removed the halon system from the office areas

EVs are a step on the path to sustainability, with other mobility solutions - rail, e-busses, e-bikes, scooters, etc. Big difference is ICE technology gets more expensive every year - EVs get more efficient & less $. Might help in the ego on wheels aspect, when $20K cars can do 0-60 in < 7 sec
