I had completely missed the 500 mark, but accidentally already done some 500 related things... So happy thanks for 500 guys! Heres my new project to celebrate this achievement. Fiat 500. No mods for power coming, but more lighthearted fun stuff instead. Maybe add an Amiga 500 to this?

Fun fact. It takes about a year of not washing your van for it to start growing moss. At least here in Finland. I'd even say it is thriving.

Had a productive evening fixing the 500 today. Managed to get the boot latch unstuck with a hefty dose of wd40, replaced the passenger side outer door handle AND figured out a way to get the window regulator mechanism to grab the window with it as that was also one thing wrong on passenger side

So... This happened. And no, its not a REAL abarth. Just makes way too much noise and has a badge in rear. But still. A car should have no reason to make a driver and other people on the road smile this much. 😂 Also, it's missing a door handle and the boot lock is dead. It's a very italian car.

About to make yet another financial mistake today. Stay tuned for car related shenanigans as your boy is once again up to some nonsense. (About to take part in a softcore car navigating rally next saturday and gonna go get my racecar next)

Replacing the exhaust on a van, alone, on gravel while being eaten by angry ants is misery... only thing missing was rain. On top of that, the exhaust parts didnt fit together, but had a huge gap in between them, and the hanger prongs didnt match the rubber hangers under car... tbc 1/?

210 000 epätoivoista puhelua. Näin moneen ei pystytty vastaamaan @mieli.fi kriisipuhelimessa vuodessa, koska resursseja oli liian vähän. Ja mitä tekee hallitus: LEIKKAA näistä pienistä avustusrahoista. Isoille pörssiyrityksille kyllä riittää tukirahaa. #vahvoistavälittäväSuomi

One box of potential revell disappointment, new watch and some PC upgrades. Busy weekend. Finally switched my ancient R9 390 to an RTX5060 and doubled the ram of my PC from 16 to 32 Gigs. Was surprisingly affordable, both of them. Had to add the insignia of inquisition too, for my love of wh40k.

Display shelf starting to look decent. This one is for the living room, but similarl setup will be added next to pc once i have more time. Really happy with the way i routed the led strip. Plug with extension cord hidden behind the wooden briefcase for smart looks.

Tantive IV in its full Lego glory. Even has some easter eggs in it. Like the missing escape pod, and miniature versions of R2, 3PO and Leia.

Removed the lock mechanism and installed a knob on my new workbench where the keyhole used to be. Had to MacGyver it a bit, using disposable wooden fork as a shim to keep the knob screw from slipping through, and another to blank the latch hole. It ain't pretty but neither am I 😂

#natsit

Sitrep on scissors. Citric acid and laundry powder combo works wonders. About 1 table spoon of citric acid crystals, one or two teaspoons of powder (only there to break the surface tension of water, could use dish washing soap too) and about half a liter of water. Quite efficient

Doing some restoration work on old scissors. Lets see if citric acid+laundry powder combo works.

Finally starting to settle in. Managed to get a cheap place to live via some odd arrangements. And also got me this old timey desk thing as a dedicated place to build my kits. Finally! 😂 No more keyboard on background BW-384 acting as a teaser for now. Gotta get everything set up properly first.

Finally a dedicated workbench for model kits! I know its a bit of a mess, but we'll get there eventually. Still so much stuff to move around and arrange...

This may well be the next kit in line. Maybe. I do still have that Sherman, and one Tiger... And a Suzuki bike.... And an A-10 in the works before this 🙄😂

Did some thrift store finds. Silver one i already owned, but the yellow one... Ooh boy. Turns out it is a Simpsons Limited edition, worth way more than what i paid for. I would estimate it being worth about 4x the money I paid. Too bad it didnt come with original box or game...

Been fixing the dash of my van. Using a lidl soldering "pen" or whatever its called to fill screw holes and deeper scratches in dash and adjacent panels. Took some plastic out from behind this for color match. Also scratched the surface to match the finish (will look better after sanding)

#histscalemodels 1:72 M4A1 i was referring to earlier. This, along with Oddball's crew from Kelly's Heroes, are the reason i love these little teapots so much. Built around 1997, repainted around 2022. Also, this color just works. Way better than the new one i just mixed.
