For posterities sake, and to say I got to chime in on this- China’s jet prototype reveal is a shot across the bow. A lot like the J-20 13 hears ago. We know they’re good at building jets, and this is just a prototype. It’s big, it seems stealthy, and has a very large internal weapons bay.

Look… the Average American believes inflation is tied to foreign aid and reducing government spending wards off recession. Not being able to identify airplanes at altitude as anything other than the grey men or dragons of yore is NOT surprising.

Congrats to Top Aces pilot Don "Rhett" Butler for reaching an incredible 4,000 flight hours in the F-16! He spent 20y in the USAF as an F-16 pilot, then went on to work for LM as a civilian F-16 instructor, evaluator and test pilot. He joined Top Aces Corp. in Sep 2023. www.f-16.net/pilots-profi...

I watched a 4-ship of F-35s, outnumbered, beat dedicated air superiority platforms at range in the exercise environment. “Master of none” my ass. I still don’t get the “age of drones”. You aren’t winning tactical intercept with quadcopters. Even optionally manned systems are in their infancy.

He has the technical and operational knowledge of air power of your average DCSer. Check that, they’re more credible. No Elon, the great minds at WPS never considered IADS or being a ground kill. You ARE a genius. We should get rid of this critical capability in favor of “drone swarms.”
