bsky.app/profile/jane... I vote early in person in Ohio.* Every Ohio county has an early voting site. And it starts NEXT Tuesday, October 6! Early morning, evening and weekend hours available. You NEVER know what illness, accident or family emergency might happen on or just before Election Day!

m.facebook.com/groups/58103...? This post includes easy-to-do solutions for leaves. We started blowing leaves under trees and in gardens a few years ago. Save the lawn bags, your back, and your time and blow the leaves off grass into beds and in a layer under trees!

Unintended consequences: I used to buy hamburger for some favorite recipes. But recent news about where imported “you don’t need to know where from” mystery meat has caused me to walk past all beef products. I will just leave it out altogether! Who trusts our corporate producers anymore?

11+ Billion $$ for the first week of the Iran War! 😡 The self-important, unwilling-to-learn Hegseth and team are spending our future with likely NO positive benefit for the average citizen. However: billionaires and defense contractors are making huge profits on the war and market fluctuations. +

Our tax dollars pay for a “Star Wars” military. But it is being led by Spaceballs leadership. 😐

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BR... I think of this map every time Trump and cabinet refer to any/all of the countries in red on this map. It is from a Wikipedia page on the North American Techocrat movement of the 1930’s. Weird coincidence? Wikipedia link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technoc...

bsky.app/profile/bese... I hope this isn’t correct. Children have even greater need for food as they grow. So a parent with an abusive or neglectful spouse should keep that person in the home to qualify for food support for their 8-17-year-olds? . . .

To paraphrase Trump’s recent interview with Kristen Welker, (substituting billionaires for children): “American billionaires do not need as many toys and American billionaires do not need to spend as much money on junk they don’t need.” Sooo, let the 2017 tax bill expire and budget issues solved!

Robert Kennedy Jr. is a similar age to me. He recently said that he remembers families having “measles parties” to infect their children and create immunity. I remember get togethers for chicken pox but definitely NOT measles. Measles (both strains) were taken seriously in those I knew.

I read that Google Maps had changed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. I assumed it was a fake story but here is a screenshot from Google maps. Wow, what capitulation. I guess I need to check their post about Mount Rushmore. My other map app has not changed

I just called Ohio Senator Bernardo Moreno’s office to express my hope that he would vote down Robert Kennedy Jr’s nomination. The aide told me the Senator will be voting yes on every one of President Trump’s nominations, but he would pass on my view.

I am taking some store pictures of products’ price tags, so I have visual evidence to compare to in a year or two. Eggs and other foods, prescription packages, cleaners, lumber, etc. I will see if the pics are useful. (I assume eggs will go down, since such a big deal was made of those costs.)
