frustrated but willing to break bad habits!

it’s time

i don’t know is all i know. but if i sit
on the sill of social media much more
i will be flinging myself through its
goddamn window. sit here and eat
what-ifs, horrific news, evil predictions? unsettled all day? if it’s gonna be bad let it
find me in real time and may i take appropriate action. numb dumb doom-
scroll is only plucking my vagus nerve
like a saggy guitar string; out of tune
turns love into loathe. i need the real music
of realness. no more weather-forecasting
society’s every second. go out and show how to do this right without the constant
blood loss of distraction.

half-done with this phase of my sun-catcher. a good stopping point for now. my body is flared. sciatica tricky on both sides. mood is low. my brain wants me to go go go & finish this (and so many other things) with immediacy. but for now i’m just shutting off my head for a bit so my body can rest.🩵

not here much. a lot of frustrations led me to leave FB again. IG is where i interact, but it‘s been extremely frustrating & deeply unhealthy lately. am dealing with a lot of chronic illness + hanging on by a thread, but still trying to be mindful & aware. but not to the point of madness.
